Awesome table James! I'll bet it's stronger than my shed! Definitely an inspiration for other pieces.

No doubt a beautiful piece. I wonder if the legs being on the corners will get in the way a little when playing. I doubt it'll get any super competitive use tho so it's probably not a problem. I've played on solid concrete tables that were basically just a big solid slab.

The poupous for the build was not competitive Ping-Pong, but a ping pong table that will last. moving the legs in to regulation spacing would create a weaker table. as 705 of the time it is used for kids to lean on rather then to play a game.

Wonderful table and shared video...Question if you have time...Why are the tenons on the elbow braces (often called these days erroneously a "knew brace,") configured in this manner rather than the more traditional style...Thank you in advance...

I find these to be a little bit easier to cut. And in this particular application there's not going to be a huge vertical load on them so there isn't a need to take the extra time.

Wonderfully done, James. Just wondering why the epoxy, when draw-boring makes it as tight as it'll ever be already? I fully doubt the pegs would ever work their way out, and I've never seen glued timber frame joints as a practice.
