Making a Table for a Millers Falls Model 9954 Portable Bandsaw | Part 1

Тәжірибелік нұсқаулар және стиль

In a previous video, I fixed and tuned up an old Millers Falls Model 9954 portable metal-cutting bandsaw that I bought cheap at an auction (this is the same saw as the Ingersoll-Rand Model 8099). Given the age of this saw (at least 40 years old when I got it), there is no commercial option for a table/stand like the SWAG Offroad tables currently on the market. So, I decided to make one myself from steel plate and angle iron.
Part 1 of this series goes through cutting the tabletop and edge angles and assembling those together. Part 2 will show the rest of the build.

For those wondering why I bolted the angles to the top instead of welding, I was concerned that the weld heat would warp the top. I wanted to keep it as flat as possible.
