Прекрасная работа, респект.
Ah, yes another video that proves to me that my time having to file on a metal piece for four weeks, could actually help me accomplish awesome creations... if I would actually do something with it... It truly looks amazing!

I'm thinking of starting to smoke again just to get a lighter, great work.
Давно не было новинок и первые десять минут немного офигел от ЧПУ. Зато потом опять старая добрая пайка, сборка и наведение лоска. И в результате отличная вещь.
thx god... a new video🎉🎉🎉

I tried copperchloride for cleaning brass parts, but it turns the surface to copper. Any advice?
@BanjoShow

I think you are using too strong a solution or keeping the part in the solution for too long. You also need to understand what you are using chemical cleaning of brass for. If you are doing this to patina later, then fine, but if you want the part to shine and keep its shine for a long time, then chemical cleaning is not suitable for this, rather, on the contrary, the part will darken very quickly. To make the part shine for a long time, you need to use polishing pastes with wax additives or, after polishing, paint the brass with a transparent two-component automotive varnish.

@@BanjoShow In some of your videos, you see bubbles rise very quickly. Shine is not needed, I just want it uniform and look "all the same" like yours :p I see lots of bubbles and then it looks all clean and matt.
Hello sir, what materials you used to join all the parts together. Are they soldering wick and what those jelly type thing you used before applying heat torch ?
Finally, new video! Awesome job, as usual! You start using CNC lathe?

Nice work on that lighter. Silly question, mind me asking how many hours it took? From start to completion.

Thank you. After I had the idea of this lighter, I started working on a 3D model on the computer, which took me about one week. For about 5 days I made parts for the prototype, after which I made some changes in the design and methods of making parts. Then I made a second copy of the lighter with changes in 3 days. In total, I got about 15 days. Now to make a lighter from the beginning to the end, it will take me about 2 days. If you shoot a video and make a lighter, then this is a very long process; this video took me 8 days and 2 days of editing on a computer.

@my mechanic..... I really don't know how many followers you have from India but I am a die hard fan of your work. I have never seen anyone to make a perfect product ever in my life... I tried to buy one of your lighter however unfortunately I am from a really poor family and I don't have that much financial support that I can purchase it. If there is any other way available ilto buy it please let me know...I really want to have it
Why don’t you upload as often is it hard to find ideas are you experiencing burnout or is other stuff in you life affecting you making videos whatever it is glade to see you back and take care.

I already wrote about this somewhere, but I’ll repeat it again for you: in March 2020, my Google account was hacked and they gained access to a KZread channel that was linked to this Google account. To regain access to the KZread channel, KZread support could not come up with anything else but to completely delete the KZread channel, and then give me the opportunity to link a new Google account to the restored KZread channel. As I was told by support, deleting a KZread channel and then restoring it deletes the entire history and character of the channel. From the KZread platform, as well as a very large number of subscribers were untied from the channel, that is, by the numbers they are subscribed, but notifications and my videos are in their feed not shown. And it turned out that I got access to a KZread channel, which the KZread platform itself considers as a newly registered KZread channel that cannot be trusted with 450,000 subscribers who do not see my videos and of course my videos are not promoted in any way. As you can see, all my subsequent videos that were uploaded to the KZread channel do not have such a number of views that would be comparable to the subscribers of this channel and all my videos that have more than 100 thousand views are those rare cases when I contacted support with my problems and they did something there and the views grew a little more. I’ll explain why I’m saying all this: in order to shoot a video, I need to completely close the workshop for the duration of filming the video, which is about 2 weeks, and only do video shooting, which means that I will not be able to fulfill incoming orders. When the views on the channel were good, the profit from the KZread channel compensated for the time when I did not fulfill orders. Since now the KZread channel does not generate any significant money, I cannot simply shoot videos as a hobby, renting a workshop, paying workers, and many other expenses simply do not give me the opportunity to shoot videos for my pleasure. Therefore, filming videos for a KZread channel occurs only when I have at least a little free time and it’s all out of pure enthusiasm since it doesn’t bring profit. I am planning to make videos for KZread, but I have not yet found a solution on how to do this.
8:35 so you don't mess the face of the plate, you should clearn it up with a tool path and glue a plexiglass sheet on top, with all the holes needed, that itself then gets zeroed out. If you get a thicker piece like say 8 mm thick, that's gonna last you a long time, and plexiglass is very stable. Two part contact cement is good, because heat will release it super easy once you've chewed through. IMO, the height loss is negligible compared to having to eventually replace the plate, plexi is cheaper.

I would not say that this machine is small, since it takes up a decent place in my workshop, but when compared with industrial scale machines, then yes, compared to machines in production, this is a very small machine. Machine model: EMCO 120
