Custom Knife Making: The Skeleton Reverse Tanto Knife
Thank you for joining me on my channel. Today, we will be making a EDC Skeleton Reverse Tanto Knife. I made this knife using 10mm leaf spring steel that was removed from a School Bus. Feel free to use whatever you have available or prefer. Don’t forget to like and subscribe.
01:00 Cutting the Steel to size
02:00 Flattening and annealing the Steel
04:00 Marking the Profile
04:30 Grinding the Profile
08:30 Mark and Drill the Handle Holes
10:00 Mark and grind the Bevels
14:30 Mark and file the Jimping
17:30 Heat treat the Knife
18:50 Clean the Profile
22:50 Apply Gunblue
25:00 Attach the Lanyard

    Yes i do...220 grit belt just touching up the cutting surfaces works great

    @@zeemanknives I have a fine aluminum oxide wheel on my bench grinder,,works good, takes a bit of practice to get right..
