The shark most likely died due to the fact sharks need to constantly move water through their gills by swimming. Solid video, absolutely love watching you and your family fish!

Some sharks don't adapt to captivity and will bruise themselves by flailing and ramming into walls. Could've been thst

@@desertrainfrog1691 yep something like that and it goes through the whole body causes it to smell and taste like it so when you catch them you suppose to kill them before they get the chance to do it

ace you are literally the reason i bought a whole catch and cool setup. i live in NJ by a big river and abandoned paper mill. would love to bring one of your first cast bottles on my cooks but it’s sold out. whether you pick me or not it’s okay. just thank you for everything you’ve recorded and God Bless you.

Hey Ace, I know you like trying new ways to eat fish, so I thought you may like this recipe. It’s called ceviche. I’m not sure if you’ve had it before, but it’s a Mexican dish that uses raw fish. These are the basic ingredients: •Diced fish •lemon juice •cilantro •diced onion •diced tomato •pinch of salt and pepper •jalapeños for spice (optional) •diced avocado You’ll want the raw fish to marinate in the lemon juice 5 minutes. Then, just mix all of the ingredients together and you can serve it on tostadas or eat it with tortilla chips!

I like mine with lime juice, I put the fish chunks in the lime for a couple of hours, then the onion and serano pepper for another hour before the other stuff that way the rest of the stuff doesn’t get soft. I also put in cucumber. I’ve made it with mangrove snapper, sheepshead, and weak fish. The snapper is my favorite.

Ok here’s my families recipe: Diced red onion, diced avocado, diced tomato, diced cucumber, cilantro, Clamato, diced jicama, shrimp and crab all in a bowl or you can use fish but make sure to especially add lemon to the fish , let it rest for about 5 to 15 minutes. Add Valentina hot sauce (or any hot sauce u want but Valentina is what we use) and some chips (On the border Mexican grill and cantina cafe style chips -that’s the brand name)

Just an FYI about sharks Ace. Most sharks tend to empty their bladder into their skin when caught or just going #1. That being said you should clean them right after you catch them. To avoid the flavor of the meat being spoiled or tainted. If you see this please like so ace can see it and possibly spread the info throughout a future video.
