I’m normally waiting for a new video when I’m board at home in the winter time. Especially before or after work. Fish don’t bite as much during the winter in my area. Lazy fish!!!

Love the video as usual! Lighter presentation produces bigger fish in the mangroves. Jig heads or just no weight at all when you’re using live shrimp! That big weight hitting will spook a redfish or snook everytime!

Yeah they leech on the fish until it dies because it doesn't get enough nutrients and moves on another fish.

and oddly the fish suffers no negative effects as it effectively replaces the tongue in use.

Definitely need to try throwing some artificial lures around the mangroves. Using chum and anchoring down is good but youre missing out on alot of snook and tarpon down there. If you troll around and throw lures next to the mangroves like paddletails you will slay some tarpon and snook

Your dad has it pretty easy. You drive the boat, clean the fish, cook the food, and clean up.

All winter has been Garbo fishing for me but lately it’s been a blast catching fish I’ve never caught before

As a connoisseur of the Louisiana seafood products, I had no idea they made a fish taco sauce. Literally putting that on the list to check for when I go grocery shopping tomorrow.

Another awesome video!! I put my dry fish coating in a gallon size zip loc bag. Throw the fillets in the bag shake em up and when all done you can use the bag as a garbage bag to pack out your trash. I always keep a box of them handy. All the best to you and “Me Ancient”
