Hey what was the tool that you used other than the drill bit to cut the cone shaped hole for the diamond?

Did the epoxy hold up with the gemstone in the long run? My boyfriend is wanting to make my engagement ring and we're trying to figure out the best way to put a gemstone in it

@@CLyonsCreations I saw someone make a gap in the wood ring, and push the round shape stone into the gap, so the edge of gap hold the stone very firm. And he said it needs the wood with very good flexibility and extensional rigidity。otherwise the ring will crack when you push. But I am not sure that whether faced gem stones, like diamonds, blue sapphires or ruby, are suitable for this design, because that people only use round shape stones.

Did you use clear fiberglass resin to make it stronger/seal it?

I used epoxy as a sealer, but fiberglass resin is a great idea too.

tell me you just glue a zircone or a cristal and not a diamond if is that a diamond that's a crime!!!
