Excellent work as always. Your videos have a great tone, speed, and overall atmosphere. Hoping to see more soon! Keep it up, Thomas!
Great small project Thomas and your videos are always an "Stop and look" in our hurry's lives. Thank you again.
I am, once again, in awe of your talent and your artistic sense. Thank you for sharing your work and passion with us.
Very nice turn as it kept me guessing as every video of yours does. Good to see you on the Tube again.
I actually use my drill press to "turn" rings. Because i have no lathe though. This was an amazing video and beautiful craftsmanship. Beautiful ring.
Awesome, Thomas! Love the contrasting woods and pattern.
Just marvellous, thx for sharing. What an inspiration!
Welcome back! I liked the ring, kept wondering how you'd do the next steps, and the video was entertaining. Thank you!
Great ring Thomas and my size. The videos are coming along well keep 'em coming. Cheers Roger Barossa Valley South Australia 🇦🇺.......
Nice work with the ring. The woods, in my opinion, blend very well together and I would pay money to get it
Beautiful ring, thanks for sharing.
I like the super glue trick to hold the blank while turning. Great idea. Great video. Beautiful ring.

Second time I watched this - Excellent! Inspirational. Gotta get a lathe - looks like it makes the process so much more fun / enjoyable.
I love this jig. Might have to make something similar for when I do wooden bracelets!
Beautiful! Thanks for sharing.
Thank you for sharing your turning experience and making the time to produce this video. Love the small projects as they still demonstrate your craft and creativity.
Well done! Excellent angles and close ups on your process and finished product.

Great video!! Thanks for sharing. Cheers. Mauro
This is the first time I saw woodturning but it was awesome.
I was just searching for tips on rings and saw this 'strange' ring idea and said... Lets take a look... Who else could be? .........The magician......Mr Anton! Every video is a seminar 🙏🏼 Thanks lots friend.

Thanks alot Gord, always good to hear from you.
Fantastic video! I've only turned about 6 rings so far so I really appreciate the info in this video. I hadn't even thought of using a glue block and have been wasting a lot of wood! This will definitely help! Thanks and keep the videos coming!

Fantastic ring man! Nice ispiration for all your subs! Cheers
Looks amazing :) nicely done
This was beautiful and beautifully done. I just got a mini lathe (unimat db200 if you're curious) off of craigslist specifically for making jewelry for friends and family and this just....made me so much happier to have started the process.

Thank you Stephen! They are perfect for that, i was thinking about buying a mini lathe for at home too, so that i don't have to travel to the shop ( 7 miles - 10km ) for every jewelry order. Enjoy the lathe and process! :)
Eres todo un artesano amigo! Te felicito sinceramente, ese anillo te quedó espectacular! Saludos desde Reynosa Tamaulipas México CRACK!!!

Great job with the ring, it came up a treat. Especially since you didn’t use every machine known to man LOL! I’d be very proud of yourself, if I were you? Congrats! Cheers, Sean

Agree! getting to hate seeing woodwork videos where they have a workshop with 10s of 1000s of $ worth of tools
belo trabalho....arte pura!!!! parabéns....
Excellent! Very beautiful as wood without inlay or other adornments. And one more comment, your videos are also an art form.

Thanks so much!
Excellent!
Very nice. I used the same method to make deer antler and ebony ring. Only way without a ring chuck.
Nice job! I think I could do this, thanks to your video.
muito lindo. parabéns!!!
ánimo amigo ánimo están bonitas tus creaciones
Great work😍😍😍
Impressive, im think im might have to copy your idea and make a movie of this for my channel.. Great craftsmanship.
Super mooi gedaan!
Would be easier to sand and polish while turning on the lathe. I like using ring cores inside the rings. That’s a beautiful ring and would look better with a titanium ring core.
amazing work 😍👌🏻
thank you so much!!
damn man it's beautiful.
Absolutely beautiful ring. I'd love to be the lucky person who gets it :)
Very professional video.
Que anillo tan bonito que Dios te bendiga y gracias 🙏🙏🙏
another great video. The music is relaxing and fits very well. I really love the work you put into making these videos and I appreciate the good editing and camera angles.
One of the most beautiful wood rings I've seen yet. Wenge grain truly is lovely, and you managed to make it pop. I'm very new to wood working, so it confused me why you put the oil on after the CA glue, but wow it worked. Also, isn't Wenge known to cause skin irritation in some people? How can you protect against that without having an inner maple ring to keep the wenge from touching your skin? Perhaps a few layers of CA glue?
true skill well done
excelent work
WOW... Sehr schöne Arbeit... Liebe Grüße aus Deutschland
awesome
That’s sweet man
knap stukje werk man !!
da trabalho mais vale muito o final fica lindo parabèns
Beautiful!
Beautiful! How well does the finished product resist moisture? I.e. Should you take it off before washing your hands?
So peacful
Awesome! :D
nice ring,
Anillo espectacular!!! Quiero hacerte una pregunta....despues de tantas capas de CA.....el aceite que pones al final....penetra dentro del anillo?? Muy buen trabajo👏👏
great video! which sandpaper size do you use after the glue? Does it make sense to oil the ring after using the glue?
Оригинально !
Amazing project, so delicate and beautiful. You have so much patience when doing your work. Where do you get your ideas?

Thank you Tom!. Mainly thinking of designs while i'm laying in bed. But i am sure they are based on things i see.
Wow the superglue holds
it is a nice ring
Very Nice! What do you use with the Red cloth pls.
I love the video!!! I would like to know what materials you use to glue the wood (is it normal carpenter's glue?) and to protect it from the elements (the transparent liquid). Tank you very much!
wow
Wow
👍👍👍👍
Tua nota é nota 10
Do you think wood glue would work to bond wood and deer antler or CA glue ? I made a ring the other day using a two part epoxy but after washing my hands all day it became separated by the evening. Totally frustrating!! Just wondering what is going to work.
the saw is most likely Japanese. They cut on the pull stroke.
good
Maybe if you gave the ring to the right person, you wouldn't have to sleep on your workbench! Haha... Nice work, Thanks!
Really Nice job on the ring!!! Does the danish oil penetrate through the CA finish? Just curious...Thanks for sharing!

Thank you! It only pentrated the inside of the ring. on the outside it is more on top of the CA glue. I'm experimenting :), when you sand the ca with a fine grid it gives a nice final finish ( in my opinion)
Was that CA glue that you used to glue the blank to the waste block? I can't believe it held up to drilling.
Hopefully you're making money off of KZread. These videos are amazing.
How does something like this hold up in terms of strength? I haven't turned any rings yet and I understand that pure wood rings can be pretty flimsy.
Lovely ring, how do these rings do for wedding rings, or are they too fragile?
@TAG-1984

They are perfect as wedding rings, maybe a little less durable then bentwood rings, and definetely not as long lasting as metal rings. But it should last many years.
Can you tell me materials used and the measuments plz :)
