INSPIRING... Hi Jeff! This episode with Sanjay C is so amazing. In regards to the interview the sound and picture quality is excellent (just as good as an interview on network television). However, I do realize that both you and Sanjay C do this on what appears to be a professional level. The point I am making is that if everyone had the same (or similar equipment) as you two no one would have to leave their homes for an interview. Technology has made it possible to communicate and collaborate with people all over the world. ONE QUESTION: Did you guys share video from both cameras at each location to get such a beautiful edit? Again, loved your interview. -JRC!

I've wanted to buy the swing and swing more libraries for years, but I'm not a professional media composer, and that makes it very hard to justify the investment. You just nudged me a tad closer though. Btw, I keep thinking you're wearing a safety vest because of those orange stripes, and I think you should run with that for a future episode: put on a helmet and a tool belt and do some music for an imaginary commercial for children's sandbox toys or something 😊

as a Big Band arranger and teacher this stuff depresses me a little. in its genesis, the composers for those kinda movies in the 40-50 where writing out everything in music paper, then orchestrating and then recording it. even Quincy Jones and John Williams would write every note out. wouldn’t be more honest if we would just spend the time learning how to write for big band, exporting the midi file from finale or sibelius to cubase/logic and making it sound properly from there?

hi Jef,i realy love big band music,i listened to a lot of them,Glenn Miller,Gene Krupa, Benny Goodman, etc,i'm 59,so i heard a lot of music of the past,to be honnest,i like it more then the music of today,EDM, RAP, etc does nothing for me,i also find it more like noise than music my music collection spans over the 40s-50s-60s-70s -80S,and a little bit of the 90s,after these years music took a fall, and it all sounds alike, selena gomez, taylor swift and ariana grande, they all sound the same, sad, thats why i turn to the past for music,or movie scores
