Making a Peacock Eye Bowl - Full Process

Making a cereal bowl out of stoneware clay.
A full description of the process is available as subtitles.
The design comes entirely from the stamped pattern in the surface, and the glaze flowing over it. There are no stages missing from the glazing process.

    That's the first time I've seen a turntable which holds the clay on a removable plate. It seems like such an obvious improvement.

    @@travelwell6049 of having to cut the clay from the turntable to put it somewhere to dry. Possibly deforming it in the process.

    This bowl is sooo gorgeous! Watching the process was very hypnotic. I seriously need and want my own art studio so I can explore and create all kinds of things, be it pottery like this, or whatever else takes my imagination out to space in a good way. 😁😁

    The glaze is made up of powered materials, some of which are metallic oxides (like titanium and cobalt). These have a certain colour in their raw form, but have a different colour when melted together with the other ingredients to form a glass. The colour and pattern change is due to that difference
