It’s a tough one to break down because there are quite a few elements to the sound. First of all before the amp it helps to apply some heavy compression, and after the amp some delay and reverb to drag the note out. Those two elements with the right balance will give that feel where it’s less like a guitar and almost like a synth pad. Other than that it’s just getting the right type of chorus and heavily saturated distortion. I can help more but hit my IG @exormusic. There’s too much to write here 😆

How dare you call a rock/metal instrumental "a beat" lol

Not meaning to imply they are. But there’s often a lot of shoegaze elements

My Bloody Valentine -> HUM -> Deftones . If you can't hear the shoegaze in Deftones something's wrong with ya 🤷

Definitely sounds like shoegaze just on the heavier side of the genre, idk what you mean. You're right on the other two things though.

Also left and right guitar tracks shouldn't be the same exact thing, it should be another take as similar as possible. So him having a channel for left and one for right and only recording once is gay and makes the sound gayer than Bruce Jenner

It sounds like “Saturday Night Wrist” era of Deftones. Reminiscent of Cherry Waves/Beware tracks. You nailed it man. These ppl couldn’t discern a signal chain from a fart in church.
