The only tweak I’d make would be to swap Kite Man and Bleez’s episodes, I think having the basic street level brawlers right before the insane cosmic battle makes for a fun contrast

How about a Season where every episode introduces a new series? Like you can have Marvel, DC, DBZ, etc. But they have to fight against a new series

That would be interesting to see, there are so many series/franchises that deserve to get their spot on DB.

Im surprised I didn't see Piccolo vs Martian Manhunter that seemed like a free space. I've also heard Jiren vs Manhunter being thrown around but I don't know much connections between Jiren and J'onn other than the fights more fair. Edit: So I checked and J'onn vs Jiren do have some connections going for them. Powerful aliens that lost everything they had then joined the greatest superhero team in their respected universes becoming one of the most powerful members. (Also Grey Alien vs Green Alien) They also have a lot of contrasts that could make the fight an interesting one. Manhunter using all of his bax and abilities while Jiren tries to shrug them off and go for hand to hand combat. I mean yeah J'onn likely still mindrapes Jiren but it's a hell of a lot better than him just no diffing Piccolo.

This was a good DC vs Non Marvel season idea video, and also I agree with the last one, Kyle Rayner vs Simon The Digger is season finale worthy, and it's one my favorite matchups of all time

If memory serves, Cassandra can read an opponent's body language, making it so she can predict their next move. This doesn't instantly make her win during a fight, though it does make her a challenging foe against non-powered opponents. I think, in a fight with Snake Eyes, we'd get a Shredder/Silver Samurai-esq outcome. Cassandra probably does have a weapon or attack that can take out Snake Eyes, or at least knock him out, in one hit, but Snake Eyes only needs to land a single lethal blow.

The one where you brushed passed episode 14 is just honestly a riot! And the little "help" was a brilliant touch xD

No matter how unlikely it is, my most wanted will always be Doomsday Vs SCP 682(DC Vs SCP Foundation) 2 giant monster capable of surviving the impossible only to adapt and become stronger, all while being bent on destruction and death, making them some of the biggest threats in their verses. It has such great potential and it sucks its unlikely to happen any time cos of how SCP is. Oh also 2 ideas. Season of Finale Matchups. Season of Holiday Matchups (probably be a short one).

For holiday matches, I can see Marvel Santa vs DC Santa as one, Grinch vs Jack Skellington as another. If it doesn't have to be holiday themed then a bunch of horror movie characters for halloween fights like Micheal vs Jason.

@@8cutstrings I think the hard thing about researching an SCP character is the fact that SCP has no definitive canon while also having many different continuities and a lot of it contradicts with eachother so it's really hard to actually scale the character when tons of things are contradictory like how 682 survived being erased from reality once yet died by being ripped apart by several 173 instances

Attempt #3 at making you do a season with all episodes involving fanmade characters or versions of characters. I said both previous times that I have a truck load of Holo-Chronicles ideas, so Imma bring one up here for the example: Holo-Chronicles Roboco VS Genos. Base Roboco is already pretty much the lovechild of Genos and Black Rock Shooter, so that'd be fun to see, and the Bionic Bride is something that would be really fun for all the fight choreography possibilities. Roboco in her transformed state bombarding Genos with lasers, which he then weaves and bobs through as he closes in to try and get an advantage at close range, only for her to flick him back down onto the ground by his fist/foot like she did to Coco before showing that she's still a beast even up close, thus causing Genos to reformulate his battle strategy all over again? That would be sick. Not to mention how they could bounce off of each other personality-wise. Genos is relatively cold, calculating, and mechanical despite only being a cyborg, while Roboco is a very warm, pleasant, and occasionally outright goofy individual despite being a full-blown robot. They also have very different and very interesting backgrounds, with Genos having his whole family and such massacred by an evil cyborg before being turned into one by the doctor, and Roboco somehow having records of herself from an apocalyptic future despite being built in the present. And finally, it could just be a fun matchup. Genos VS War Machine was more of the serious Genos from the big action scenes, so here we could have the Genos that we see more so in the comedy sections of One Punch Man. It would make him and Roboco bounce off of each other even better. Could've probably done Robocop or the Terminator instead, but those both get horribly stomped as far as I'm aware, so I'm just picking the safe option here.

First off, Happy Birthday! Second, I hope you do more videos like this in the future. Thirdly, if you are planning on doing more, I would like to see your take on a season consisting of only Battle Royale episodes. (You know, episodes like the Mega Man, TMNT, and Kanto Starter Battle Royales)

Trazyn can be pronounced however you want, honestly. I’d love for him to get on Death Battle, or just Warhammer in general. But Trazyn would be so fun, they’d have to explain all the random bullshit he has in the Gallery and him just throwing it all out at Braniac like in Infinite and the Divine would be hype. I’d love if something happened like, Braniac: “Don’t tell me you have an army in there.” Trazyn: “You think so little of me? I have 5.” Which is again from Infinite and the Divine. I fucking love that book…

I've had this in my head for a bit but how about a season with characters you have some personal attachment to? It's not like a season full of dream matchups (though some could be thrown in) but I mean more like if there is character you remember and like then find a matchup for them. For example: Street Sharks vs TMNT(1987) Why this one? Well because I remember watching Street Sharks a whole lot when I was younger, around the time I got into cheesy but fun action shows like Power Rangers. So I picked that because I wanted a comedic, semi-oldies matchup between two teams of 4 mutated, human-sized animal brothers that fight crime using their own strengths and also team synergy to beat the bad guys without wanting to be noticed too much by the general public but still have a few humans that they are alright with. Something like that I think could be neat and it doesn't need to be limited to just characters you remember liking

Yeah that’s about as random as I would expect from a DC vs Non-Marvel focused season. Still, lot of cool MUs and I hope you keep up the good work Nem.

A lot of Cassandra Cain’s appeal lies in her personal struggles, I think. Her battles with her parents, her difficulty to integrate into society and connect with other people, trying to move on from her past, defining herself outside of the Batgirl mantle, and so on. Cass’ strengths make her fights fun to watch and her personality makes her really stand out imo.

You sold me on mumen rider vs kite man and q vs myx, the idea of a death battle being a debate that warps reality holds a lot of potential for one of the best deaths

I feel like the loser would, rather than become a bloody pulp or exploded, is literally stretched to thin, running out of good arguments to give and turning into this spaghetti mess that barely resembles them anymore

Trazyn vs Braniac is now one of my favourite battles, a new series like warhammer would be great and there is an absurd amount of potential.

As a big fan of DC and a very new fan of Warhammer 40k, Brainiac vs Trayzn the Infinite is a banger match. I’d love to see them just dropping bits of their collection to fight each other and reacting to each others powers

Here are a few more matchups like these of mine: -Cassandra Cain vs Hit-Girl: Two young female crime-fighters who got brutally trained since a really young age by their fathers in lethal forms of combat in order to enact jystice in the world, got raised without their mothers, eventually partnered up with a title non-superpowered crime fighter (Batman and Kick-Ass), they lost their fathers and tried to make a new life for themselves beyond crime-fighting. There is also a contrast and a dynamic potential with the more serious Cassandra who has embraced the ultimate meaning of Batman's no-killing morality going up against a more loud and willing to kill Hit-Girl. I'm rooting for ma girl Cassandra and whoever wins, it could lead to a legitimately emotional ending, since the winner will have just killed a person who had been through similar struggles as her and could have been legitimate friend to them and, in Cassandra's case, the winner realises that they failed to follow a morality they swore to follow. Track name: Girly assassins -Alternity Megatron vs Darkseid: Really obscure matchup with little to no chance of actually happening, but screw it, I'm mentioning it. Two alien overlords who are at a god status whose true forms exist beyond time and space and who enter their respective multiverses through the forms of Avatars. These Avatars possess power over all of reality (and reality included time) and are linked to each franchise's respective multiverse, with Alternity Megatron's Avatar being a composotion of every single version of Megatron to ever happen and Darkseid existing in all DC comic book continuities. This fight has lots of animation potential, with the two of them causing cosmic destruction that keeps escalating and escalating until they both seemingly kill each other, only for their Avatars to respawn, thus we get a sequence of them one-shotting each other's Avatars, until they both realise that this accomplishes nothing, thus they duke it out in their true forms. The ending could have the true of them in their Avatar forns, with the loser having his True Form mortally wounded and his Avatar weakened and slowly dying and thus, his slowly dying Avatar gets obliterated by the winner's Avatar. Track name: This isn't even my True Form -Destroyah vs Doomsday: Two 90s villains of popular franchises who were first introduced as the ultimate final bosses for a thought-to-be-invincible main character. They are both design-wise and narrative-wise the antithesis to that title character and they even have connected origins with the title character (Godzilla and Destroyah are children of powerful weapons with horrendous long-term consequences, the Atomic Bomb and the Oxygen Destroyer, and Superman and Doomsday are both Kryptonians). They are also by-products of the work of ingenious scientists. They both have 90s over-the-top designs that contrast the more simplistic designs of the titke characters they fought. They both are pure evil, hate life and love causing destruction, which makes them the opposite of the anti-heroic and dual Godzilla and the heroic and good-hearted Superman. They possess abilities that allow them to increase their power by interracting with their opponent (Destroyah has absorbtion & evolution and Doomsday has adaptability) and even received multiple forms along the way. They defeated and/or killed everyone in their way, before eventually fighting the title character in a city-destroying battle that left both sides dead, even if the title character returned in some way (Superman was ressurected and Godzilla's energy was transferred to Junior). Doomsday wins, buuuut there are some obscure incarnations of Destroyah that could put up a good fight, depending on how we scale them. Track name: Evolution of Doom -Optimus Prime vs Superman: This is a big one. This right here is my favourite vs matchup of all time. Two alien heroes who yield the colors of red and blue and crashlanded on Earth against their will after the destruction of their home planet, but ultimately accepted Earth as their home and battled to protect it. They have immense power, an iron will and a heart of gold and they fight for great ideals (freedom and justice), ideals of which they are the sheer raw embodiment of. They are titled as the last of their titles (Last of the Primes and Last Son of Krypton/of the House of El) and both have died and got ressurected multiple times and even managed to bring back life to their homeworlds. They both have arch enemies (Megatron and Lex Luthor) who, despite sharing similar goals with our heroes, attempt to achieve their goals in a selfish and destructive manner, bringing them in conflict with the heroes. Our two heroes also have a rivalry with a god whose True Form exists beyond time and space (Unicron and Darkseid), and they also receive their power from a mighty source (The Matrix of Leader (or The Creation Matrix in the Marvel/UK comic book continuity) and the sun) and they both also possess a powerful energy attack as a last resort (if we use New 52 or Rebirth Superman). And as for what can be done with the fight, the fight can escalate with both of them trying to end the fight quickly and non-lethally, but their opponent does not stay down and keeps getting up and fighting, until they finally are forced to use their ultimate attacks. And once the fight is over, the winner falls on his knees and cries, because he failed to stop himself from crossing a line he hoped he would never have to cross before and he crossed that line against a good person who was as pure and good-hearted as him. Track name: A Hero from the Stars Here is also a matchup that The Grandbull is trying to push and I also kinda dig: -Megatron vs Sinestro: Two originally good people who wanted to help their worlds, made friendships with the main characters of Optimus Prime and Hal Jordan and reached respective ranks, but ultimately turned themselves into monsters, used conceptual ideas (deception and fear) to create their own factions, turned their friends into arch enemies and got their hands on highly-destructive powers that clashed with the light-based powers their nemesises had. Nice matchup and I like how it's a Sinestro matchup that has more to it than just "aAaAaH, fEeEeEeEeAaAaAaAr". Also, it made me kinda want Optimus Prime vs Green Lantern as well (wow, that was a lot of Transformers vs DC). Track name: Deceptive Fear Also, another matchup that really vibes with me is Batman vs Solid Snake. Plus, this is a matchup that could make some escellent use of Batman's stealth and detectice skills. Track name: Knights & Soldiers

Toilenator vs Condiment King I’ve heard isn’t bad. Constantine vs Charlotte from Castlevania isn’t bad. Both can be book using demon slayers. Though she fought Dracula so maybe a bit much. Kite Man vs Stilts man is my preferred type. Kamandi vs Lone Wanderer. Humans with super computers from underground bunkers that face mutants Also Riddler vs Jigsaw isn’t bad. It’s a very intellectual fight that starts brutal and gets more brutal resulting in Riddler beating John to death or getting ripped apart by a machine. It’s a stomp either way but the ideas are there. Better than L for Riddler or Kevin McCallister.

Some ideas I would like to apport: Mister Mind Vs Plankton (DC Vs SpongeBob): Green evil geniuses who want to take over the world, small in size but with more than enough ego and intelligence to compensate. They also fight a childish protagonist. Gorilla Grodd Vs Mojo Jojo (DC Vs Power Puff Girls ): Super intelligent apes who obtained their powers after getting mutated, both are super villains who see humanity as inferior and want to rule over the world and populated with their own kind. They both fight against superhero teams and have joined super villains teams. Firestorm Vs Nahobino (DC Vs Shin Megami Tensei): By being in the wrong place at the wrong time, these two were facing imminent death, but instead of dying, they fused with an older and wiser man, that would be their voice of reason from now on, to become what they are today. At first glance, their powers might seem to just control over elements, but I assure you, they go far beyond that, as they discover the true divine origins of those fusions and how their abilities can reshape the universe. Kilowog VS Toppo (DC VS Dragon Ball): Really buff aliens who chose to join an elite space force and became successors to the previous members, they both clashed with an evil space tyrant that hurt them personally in their past, and they've both mastered and embraced a certain power that requires a lot of training, plus they serve as leaders of their aforementioned space force. (Kilowog is in it, what else do you need) Plastic Man Vs Jake the Dog (DC Vs Adventure Time): Two great, goofy, and comedic heroes who were former criminals and have pretty much the same abilities (Stretching, shapeshifting, etc), which they use creatively in their battles and support their allies by shapeshifting into a variety of things.

What about something like an internet web show matchups season or a new grounds Matchup season. Btw, happy birthday

Kalmaar vs Ocean Master (Ninjago vs DC) Two young princes who reside in an ancient lost city (Merlopia and Atlantis) who both have a troubled relationship with their parental figures (Trimaar, Kalmaar’s father, and Atlanna, Ocean Master’s mother). Both would not get along with their “siblings” (Benthomaar is Kalmaar’s adopted brother, and Aquaman is Ocean Master’s Half-Brother) and would inevitably duel them. Both would grow up resenting their families and the surface and would later usurp the throne and attack the surface with their massive armies, where they would later be defeated by their “sibling” and the female friend (Nya and Mira)

i would probably also add Mr Nobody (the Doom Patrol version) vs the Black Signal (The Secret World). it just sounds fun and interesting, and maybe somewhat similar to Q vs Mr xfgnselfnweoiwernv

For the next season one idea I have is only anime characters and only Video Game characters. Or just ones from specific franchises, like Fate

I would honestly like to see Jack take some bites out of Bane and with all of the stuff happening with Nomi No Sukune 2nd in the manga now would be an interesting time to see Jack take on another power house. Jack should have similar stats to Bane since he’s fought caveman who could lift dinosaurs into the air and grapple them to the ground you also have the famous time that Yujiro killed an earthquake with one punch in base during the original series and how it’s stated Yujiro gets stronger everyday so if Jack is any comparable to his father his strength should be immense.

As someone who's wanted 2003 Leo vs Teen Titans Robin for a really long time, I have absolutely no clue how Slade vs Ch'rell never crossed my mind. That sounds amazing

Bane vs jack Two orphan criminals that rely on a drug to get strong That's it there's probably more but that's all I can remember. Fight potential I would like to see this fight highlight how smart bane is by him at first trying to just overpower Jack but failing as Jack bits his fingers off . ( because Jack has and can to that ) . Then realizing he can't beat this guy head-on or else he'll get fucking eating. He Retreats and comes up with strategies to fight with going at him head on .

Bizarro Vs SMG3 from SMG4 is another good DC Vs Non Marvel matchup. It's not my preferred for SMG3, my favorite SMG3 matchup is Wario Vs SMG3, but it's still a great matchup(Honestly, SMG4 matchups in Death Battle are underrated).

A Constantine matchup i've been thinking of is Constantine vs Harry Dresden from Dresden Files. He's a detective wizard from Chicago used to dealing with magical beings and reminds me a lot like John. Less of a prick tho. Seen a lot of fanart of them annoying each other.

Damn...... The Chad Asura vs Atrocitus was ignored....... a really sad moment. You mentioned Kyle vs Simon, then there's another matchup with Gurren Lagann, Anti-Monitor vs Anti-Spiral.

My guess for the next episode is that you are going into Death Battle's second most overused source for fights: Fighting games

Personally I wonder how you rate: MU with an opponent (say Homura Akemi, I-No, Axl Lo, Sakuya Izayoi, etc) against Hunter Zolomon MU with an opponent (say Mojo Jojo or Winston) against Gorilla Grodd

So explain to me, I know only a bit about doctor who, how does John Constantine vs the Doctor work because i thought the Doctor doesn't fight

I want Kyle vs Simon to happen so bad, but on the other hand dear lord the debate around it is so muddled. So many people are wanking and getting things wrong about both characters that it just makes engaging in the debate exhausting. Though to be fair both series kind of leave some details into question through fault of their own (like to what extent can end of series Simon use his spiral power since he can overpower the anti spiral by himself? Like can he go to STTGL solo or not? It’s not elaborated on (guidebooks and interviews kind of help a bit though). Or if White Lantern is really standard because since Doomsday Clock, Kyle has lost his white lantern ring and (to my knowledge anyway) he’s been back to being Ion/Green Lantern for awhile now).

He cannot and never had accesssed any of the higher mech forms like Arc Gurren Lagann, Super Galaxy Gurren Lagann and TTGL by himself. He explicitly needs his crewmates, he himself says this when absorbing the Anti-Spiral's attack during the movie, where he HAS to combine with everyone else. BUT Simon's stats by himself is still higher than the STTGL mech anyways (Lagann too since in the OG anime, it killed AS), so Simon by himself still has the stats by himself, he just doesn't have the mechs. Anyone who tells you that Simon can summon the giant mechas like Arc Gurren Lagann and above by himself are running on pure headcanon. But hey, at least Lagann and himself can punch an 11-D god in the face.

Time Lords have a sorta anti magic effect so I’m not sure how well Constantine Vs The Doctor works

Asura vs Atrocitus- Two dudes who were so angry at the deaths of their respective families that their hearts were replaced by a device made to convert their anger into nothing more than raw destructive power. Not much potential in terms of banter, but a lot of potential in terms of everything else with all of the glorious destruction that would occur over the course of their brawl. While red lanterns aren't known for being creative with constructs, there needs to be a scene where Atrocitus creates extra arms and has a Jojo style flurry clash with Asura. Superboy vs Invincible- Sons of the world's greatest superhero in their respective universe, half human and half alien race with unmatched physical might across the universe, once their bodies matured they gained many shared powers, have worked alongside a group of teen superheroes, their worlds' most iconic super team, and even traveled to the future to aid heroes there, they have had physical brawls with their father and even evil alternate versions of themselves, have faced off against very similar villains, and are burdened with the weight of living up to the best. By far the most thematic match for either of them and it has a lot of potential to be an incredibly fun bought with the numerous abilities Connor could mess around with.

I would like to see Ch'Rell Shredder, 2003 was the the TMNT I grew up on and I just LOVE his voice in that show. And Shockwave makes my top Five Desepticons right up there with Megatron, Starscream, and Soundwave, my go-to for them is from Transformers Prime

Your idea/scenario for Mumen Rider VS Kite-Man sounds like it would end better in a KO and not a KILL so I think it would not be a good death battle but would make an good vs battle just not to the guaranteed death

I'm pretty sure you don't play League of Legends or know the lore but hear me out on this, Viego vs Black Lantern. Both are men who wallow in their own anger and pity and let protag syndrome seep so deep into their brain they decide to END ALL LIFE and both are known for resurrecting heroes to fight for them in a ruined state, black lantern slaps on a ring on them and Veigo gives them forms literally called "ruined Miss Fortune", "Ruined Shyvana", "Ruined Ahri" etc. Both also plunge the world into mass destruction and death in very famous in lore events and are beaten in the end by a rag tag group of seemingly random ass people from the setting, a fair few of which are very much not good guys. Plus since LoL now has other media than the moba, which funnily enough is now the worst part of the brand, the universe and lore feels like is it getting close to Marvel or DC when they were about the same age (note: I may in fact be very wrong about this size of universe and lore detail, hence me stating "feels like". I have never been a big fan of Marvel or DC so I wouldn't know how big their universe were that early on)

May I intrest you with Catwoman vs Fujiko Mine from Lupin III? It's a fairly balanced match up for both characters and has good connections to boot plus Lupin III content on Death Battle would be pretty awesome

Whenever someone talks about Devilman, it makes me think about Demon Lord Dante, an anime I watched as a kid whose final fight was MC a human-denon hybrid allies himself with Satan to survive an assault by Christian God... Today this video made me do a Google search and I learned Demob Lord Dante is essentially a Prototype of Devilman. Many story beats repeat MC is pretty much the same but everything is more PG in Devilman... According to the wiki, I haven't watched the Netflix thing yet.

Late to this, but yeah! Devilman was originally created because Toei wanted to make a more kid friendly show based around Demon Lord Dante and thus Go Nagai created Devilman whose anime and manga would debut about a month apart as I recall. I love the history of Go Nagai and his work.

With Shin Megami Tensei 5 popularity I think Raidou vs John is most possible now than ever. But the budget will be a real problem, if Zatanna vs Scarlet Witch ends up being meh like Doctor Fate vs Strange I would not want Raidou vs John unless it's a finale.

Honestly look forward to a Transformers only season. Also because outside of a select few characters, most TF matches aren't widely talked about.

batman vs red power ranger connections:both are experts in fighting and both have alot of good weapons being the best of there team as they are the leaders both have good fighting expierience and have good weaponss track name: leaders in the fight alternate matchup: chat noir vs catwomen connections: both are based off of animals with good weapons and are agile's with both weapons both have black cloths and fight evil to protect the main hero they also always try and get IN the main character and can leap between building -building trackname: Animals vs animals
