I wish you’d wear more greens and orange/red tones on your eyes. They look so amazing and bright! Stunning!! Agree re blush and paint pot. They got to go!! That essence mascara would be perfect with light makeup. Both lip colors bring so much life to your face! Gorgeous 😍

The eyeshadow palette especially those colors look absolutely gorgeous on you! I would keep it especially since smashbox doesn’t make those anymore

Jessica, I actually do like the Fenty Eye Brightener a lot and I have always liked most of the same concealers that you do! The way I use it, is I actually put it down first underneath my foundation, and I feel that once the foundation is over the top, it looks seamless but the dark spots near the corner of my eye are bright like I want them but my under eye isn’t so noticeable with lighter concealer over foundation if that makes sense! Love you videos as always!

The bronzer may mix well with body lotion to put on arms and legs

Use the Fenty brightener before foundation - use it as a "brightener" instead of "concelear" - then light concelear if foundation over it doesnt cover imperfections.

That green color on your eyes is just stunning. It’s soft enough to where it’s still a Jesse look. Please play with soft greens more! 💚✨😍

Loved this style of video! ❤️🙌 I love declutter videos, but this is more helpful. You get to see in the moment your reaction to the product. You could even add an end of the day check in, if you found out that a foundation completely wore off or did weird separating. Also your editor is going a great job, love the quick zoom in on facial expressions - just the best!!

I LOVE green eyeshadow, so I'm so glad you're keeping the eyeshadow palette. I have heard several influencers say they don't like the Rare Beauty blush in that style, but like the one that comes in the other packaging!❤

I use vintage selection as a primer… I think a shimmery primer adds to the shimmer of the eyeshadow and the paint pots set down so well

I love the wnw primer and the Maybelline spray. The spray def isn't for the faint of heart. You will be GLOWING, but the right look its beautiful.

I was really underwhelmed by the Essence Bye Bye Undereye Mascara as well, until I paired it with the Essence Volume Booster Lash Primer. The primer gives my lashes some volume and the mascara coats the lashes and gives some length. And I don't get any flaking or smudges throughout the day. My eyes are so sensitive that they tear a lot and I'm always wiping away tears, but this combi really works and stays in place. This is a tubing mascara in case anyone is interested. Oh and regarding the Mac Vintage Selection, it works great as a primer, just like Painterly. It adds a nice little glow if you apply a matte or satin powder shadow over it, but it can't really be seen. Try it before you toss it out!

Are you sure Panda Eyes is a tubing mascara? Does it remove completely with water?

@@meganburbage1232 yes it is tubing! :) I have it and loooove love love it. At first I was surprised because I usually choose mascaras with a small silicon wand and this one is the opposite. But I gave it a chance and 2nd month of using still my fave. Also it's super big, it has 16ml inside 😂

@@meganburbage1232 The description on the Essence website sure sounds like a tubing mascara, "The mascara not only paints the eyelashes black, but also wraps around the fine hairs like a gentle film. It withstands all day and even sweat and tears. And best of all: it does not clump or crumble and can be easily removed with warm water." And it's also described as having a tubing formula on Ulta, so i think it's definitely a tubing mascara.

So glad you're keeping the eyeshadow palette! It's beautiful on you!

I like the Essence Bye Bye Panda Eyes for every day because it's a tubing mascara and comes off easily.

I agree that you should do this type of video more often. It is a great way to keep your collection in check and under control without too much of a hassle. In fact I am going to follow your example. I don't think I have ever decluttered anything! I only seem to throw things out if I use them up or they are extremely old.

I love this video Jess, I would love to see you do a Project Pan - where you select products you’re not using much to pan/finish them.

Personally, I really liked the MAC Vintage Selection and both CT Lip Balm shades on you. It is difficult to step out of our comfort zone for make-up but sometimes we find incredible products when we do. Understandable, if you know you are not going to use the products it is nice to pass them along to someone else who may enjoy them.

I felt the same about vintage selection but I now put a taupe shade on first and then that on top and it shows up a lot more. The darker shade in the Nars Kalahari duo is perfect but there are so many other shades that work well with it too. It’s not the one product look that we want but it’s still quick.

The MAC shadow is AMAZING if you apply with a flat eyeshadow brush! I am a similar skin tone as you and with the brush it makes a gorgeous one and done!

I love the Fenty Bright Fix, but I only use my fingers and a small dot on each side, otherwise is gets dry looking and weird real quick. I only use it on lighter or like no foundation days. (*I have oily skin. I feel like people with skin on the drier side are the ones that it doesn't work for.)

👍 I vote to do the declutter like this. It's really helpful to see it in action. I always appreciate when you say "this product doesn't work for me, but if you have dry skin it might be perfect". It's a little thing, but I think that's why you have such a positive comment section. It really feels like a bunch of friends sitting around and trading makeup because we chose a color that didn't look good on us. I guess when you don't bash a brand the trolls aren't notified and they leave the Friendly Little Corner of the internet alone! ❤

Love the eye look. So fall 💕. The Essence Mascara is supposed to be a tubing Mascara, typically my go to with oily skin, but I got panda eyes EVERY TIME I used it.

I really enjoyed watching these videos, just reminded me going over my collection, see what works and what not, reusing makeup and not only buying it and tossing it to the trash after a few months. Thank you Jessica! :)

I love declutter videos especially when people tell why they are getting rid of stuff. The Mac shadow may be a good base for other colors like you used it.

I have texture on my forehead and using that primer pretty thickly has made my foundation look a million times better on my forehead

Living for the declutters always!

I know this might be a long winded message but I needed to tell you and Tyler how much you have helped me over the last 4 months. Here in Australia we have been in lockdown since the end of June.... That's 4 months of home schooling my 10 year old daughter and not leaving the house, only to get my covid vaccines. You both gave me something to look forward to each day, I felt like I was catching up with friends. I too was a travel agent for almost 20 years, and been to Disneyland and Disney World about 11 times. Finding those vlogs, you guys, I can't tell you how much joy they brought me. I don't know if you realise just how big an impact you can have on someone's day and mood. And for you both, I will be forever grateful! I have gone back to the start of your vlogs and love that I have that treat to look forward to each day. Thank you for being yourselves and sharing the joy. Hi Jess. Watching you long time. Always appreciate your take on products because you aren't beholden to brands at either high or low end of range. You have your aesthetic and like things or you don't based on that. So I find you unusually objective. For me, products with glitter or shimmer usually end up all over my face and clothes and magnify every pore and wrinkle. So when you comment that "there's just not enough shimmer or impact there for me," those are the exact products I check out because I know they will add a little something beyond matte but won't look ridiculous. So please keep noting this, as it informs viewers who have trouble finding subtlety!

Love this video! For the Maybelline Glass Spray, I put it in a used up mini Benefit the Porefessional Super Setter bottle (that sprayer is amazing!), and I cover my eye area and just spray it on my cheek and temple to add that glass look there.

Hi Jess, I have the flower bronzer and use it when I don’t wear makeup. I put it on after I use my sunscreen. I Pat it on (with my fingers) where I typically apply bronzer and it gives me a glow/bronzy look. I really enjoy it.

I use the fenty brightener under my concealer. I use the tiniest amount just on darkest area & let it set a bit before concealer 🤷‍♀️

I am the same with the Mac shadow, I thought it would be so good alone but now I use it as a base for my metallic and glitter shadows

JESS!!!! What if you use the Flower bronzing essence as a self tanner on legs?!?! Instead of tossing it…. Maybe try that??? Put some drops in your body lotion???

I think doing a video like this again (testing forgotten or unsure products) each month or season will be a great way to manage the quantity of makeup you have but also what you would realistically use. Plus probably avoiding piling up of unused makeup, but more expired stuff (please throw out liquid products past their prime or expiration), to avoid skin reactions.

One of my FAVORITE videos

Put your liquid liners laying down. Same thing happens with my rare one too but now i lay them down on its side to prevent exploding. I actually love that liner very much!

I use a tiny bit of the Fenty eye brightner in the inner corner of my under eye over my regular concealer. I use it as just an "eye brightner" and not necessarily for coverage, it works and looks really nice because it is light weight. I'm also loving the Makeup Revolution eye brightner click pen concealer for coverage, it so creamy and moisturizing!

I bought that wet and wild impossible primer because TATI raved about it and I have to be honest it works wonderful on the pores especially on my chin. I love these kind of videos!

The orange-y lip color looks great on you. And I agree with the rare beauty blush, it’s not good. You couldn’t even see it at the end.

I have the rare beauty blush and I have tried applying it multiple ways. The best way I have found it works is applying it with the elf putty primer brush. It stayed on longer when I applied it that way.

I have the rare beauty eyeliner and it did the same for me( making a mess). But I started storing it so the tip was facing up. I feel like it’s helped a lot.

Love these type of videos. I highly recommend hush cream highlight from mac its more of a peachy tone. I am as fair as you and I have pearl but find it to icy as well. Also recommend mac rubenesque paint pot if you not tried it. Think it be right up your street as its a gorgeous pinky gold colour ❤
