I think that’s a really interesting observation about that mascara in the Florida humidity. I’ve noticed (just in general) much of the make up that’s raved about online doesn’t always seem to work for me. But then a lot of the reviewers I watch live in more northern drier climates than I do. I live in Houston which I’ve found to have pretty much identical weather to Orlando and make up just melts off no matter how well I try to set it. So maybe I just need to move! Maybe I’d have better hair days too! 😂

I’m from Seattle and had an extended stay in Texas for 3 months. No clue how the locals keep their make and hair nice. I looked terrible the entire time I was there! 😆 I’m moving to Virginia next year and I definitely need to find out some southern girl secrets.

I buy a box every year! The Republic of Tea makes a Hot Apple Cider that is incredible. Not overly spiced at all, it's still fresh and perfectly seasonal.

That’s so weird you’ve had so much trouble traveling with products from The Ordinary. I’ve traveled with their products many times and have never had a problem. I would recommend using a more structured bag (like the makeup bag you showed- but smaller) to keep them from breaking or leaking. 🙂

Deciem actually sells pumps that fit the 1 oz. bottles from The Ordinary. They’re listed under the Niod brand and just a couple dollars each. That might be better for traveling! I recently bought a couple and definitely like them better than the droppers.

The Supergoop sunscreen is pretty but $36 for 50 ml of something that needs to be generously reapplied a couple of times a day adds up FAST-not to mention all the packaging. (Remember, reapply even if you’re not getting burnt!) My eyes also get crazy irritated by octocrylene. I recently switched to Japanese sunscreens and am loving it! Better sunscreen technology and more cosmetically elegant.

@@MrsSullie22 I mostly use Skin Aqua Super Moisture Gel (white bottle, gold top). I like that I can get a big one with a pump! I also like Canmake Mermaid Skin Gel Clear. It’s has a glowiness to it that reminds me of the Supergoop Glowscreen.

I agree about not using waterproof mascara! When removing, it does take off my lashes. I always overpack makeup when I go away. Variety is the spice of life!! LOVE your videos, Jessica! :)

I have pared down my KZread subscriptions to four beauty creators, but Jessica and RachhLoves are the only two that I rely on for honest opinions about products I should try. Jessica has never steered me wrong! I have tried so many products because of her and I know when she says that she loves a product, she really means it. There are some who "love" everything "so, so much" and I don't feel like I can trust their opinion. Jessica tells you how it is - whether she loves it, whether she hates it, she is honest and open and as a result, I have found some really great products and avoided some real disasters. if you’re thinking about getting another taste blush my absolute favorite shade is seduce!!! It’s a really pretty neutral rose color and I LOVE it. It also comes in a mini at ulta for half the price :)

I have been loving Laura Geller baked foundation lately!! It’s great-swish swish and done!! You should try it if you haven’t yet!

Yeah, I love that blush too. I got that as birthday gift even though I thought it looked a bit boring in the pan, but I was pleasantly surprised at how flattering it was on me.

I second rose nude quad! It transforms to a beautiful shade on lids and the 2 mattes match the shimmery shades perfectly

The Tarte blush in captivating is the first high end blush I ever bought, and I still love it. It's long wearing and looks like a natutal flush to the skin (I have a light to medium skintone with olive undertones). Glad you are enjoying it too! I also having the blushing bride shade and love combining the two!

I have used a few Tarte blush shades, but my favourite is Fearless. It's a beautiful warm pink that looks very natural on my medium skin tone.

My favorite Tarte blush is in the shade “Seduced”! We are VERY similar skin tones and I find it gives me a nice flush without being overwhelming. 10/10 do recommend.

I love the Ordinary products and I use the cardboard from an empty loo roll, cut in half, to store when travelling... Perfect every time 😘😘

I tried the Anastasia brow pencil you mentioned and you’re right, it’s great! There’s just something about it where it looks great on the brows, yet is seamless and much quicker to apply. Yet the eyebrows still look natural and not overdone. With most quick thicker type brow products I find it can look over drawn but not with this one. Where has this product been all my life? You should try Exposed by Tarte!! It’s the most underrated blush. It looks just like a boring brown/neutral, but once you apply it on your cheeks it looks amazing. It looks beautiful on every skin tone!

I love the Killer Liner from too faced. I only have the sapphire shade, but the black and brown are on my list. At the moment I amusing up my urban decay 24/7 liners before buying the too faced ones to replace them. This video was perfectly timed for me. We are away next weekend looking at one of the universities our daughter has applied to. I always over pack everything.

The Charlotte Tilbury super nudes face palette is sooooo good its one of my flawless faves! I use natural haired brushes with baked gelee and hard pressed formulas. I think a natural haired brush is better with this palette but ppl have used reg brushes I think it just needs to be densely packed brush.

Tarte Seduce is my fav blush in that line. I haven’t tried too many (I have a peachier one from a holiday set that is good too).

I got that ILIA mascara in an Influenster box and loved it! I also found that it was very stubborn and stayed put.

I have a serious problem with over packing... but I have gotten better over the years. That bag would be wonderful for travel!

Love the super hoop sunscreen but I use the unseen version, it’s better for oily skin. As for makeup bags, I love the Sonia Kashuk one that I have. She makes a variety of sizes as well.
