Survival Lilly I’m used to shooting compound but know have my grandfathers recurve and was wondering how you aim for side to side ex. Is your arrow tip off target or high or low or are you putting the arrow tip on the bullseye? I know it’s different for everyone but was wondering thankyou and I always enjoy your videos !!!

I just bought the fifty pound version as a recurve bow and I love it, this Black Hunter... and today going to test out Flu Flu arrows on it... for bird hunting archery and see how I like it for that. Thanks for the reviews and words all of you, I took my time before I decided to buy this bow... LOL! I love my Mongolian Horse bow but this is next on my favorite bow list.

In case you haven't quite made permanent markings on your riser yet, it might be smart to use some kind of sticker or something slightly less than permanent...just in case you ever decide to change limbs for a different draw weight...even trying different arrow shafts or tip weights could make your initial markings obsolete...food for thought :) Nice shooting!

Very good suggestion indeed. But having shot a bow for the last 14 years, and having had a shoulder operation, I would be very surprised if Lilly evr decided to swap limbs. She said that 40 pounds is her limit.

@@mishellgagnon5771 true...another reason would be for changing arrow and/or point weight, this can change where the markings will need to be as well...even changing fletchings can have some effect

Learned this many years ago before compound bows came out when I was a kid. Couldn't afford bow site back then. I remember my dad told to use tape instead of scratching a mark on the bow like people did back then. Arrow weight would change site reference point. Good video Lilly.

If they are already taller I would recommend the bow in this video or a Samick SHT or Samick sage. For kids I recommend 20 pounds draw weight at the beginning. You can already purchase stronger limbs (30 pounds) for when they get stronger
