I think the pundit is overestimating Todd Blanche. In Mr Blanche's defense, it isn't easy having Trump as a client calling the plays. We've seen poor performances by Trump attorneys again and again. They go from being competent in their prior lives to incompetence driven by their client.

What does the defense team expect from a witness that was thrown under the bus, that destroyed his own career to save defendant's, and sent to prison for the person that he most admired, to have the same admiration for the defendant when the witness served his time and was released from prison mostly for a crime that the defendant benefited from.

Blanche was a prosecutor. Historically, former prosecutors have not made fantastic defense attorneys. I'd argue he's actually doing his client more harm than good at this point. I fully understand Cohen's anger towards Trump, but as an attorney, he should've known to keep his feelings under wraps until after the trial!

I do believe the part where Cohen stated he'd like to see 45 in jail was way before he was indicated. As for delighting in seeing 45 indicted,I think we all were happy to see that. We all hoped 45 was finally going to get what he deserved. Every time it was announced 45 got another indictment, a smile crossed my face!

Down with Trump up with Jesus ! This is about evidence against Trump, paperwork , and witnesses... Real evidence. Including how he destroyed Michael Cohens life. Satan whispers in people's ears and they are listening. Roy Cohn taught Trump well. Trump says that Judges are corrupt , the lawyers are corrupt , the witnesses are corrupt. Trump sold Christmas wrapping paper with his mugshot on it for 35$. Trump is a Judas Iscariot that sold Jesus out for 30 pieces of silver. Trump does not respect law. He doesn't respect gag orders. Trump respects no human life. Trump is a Hitler rising !! I expect people to cry out !!

That's normal from Cohen. That's everyone's reaction. This is understandable. This is the reaction of every human being. Any human being who is the victim of injustice at the hands of a third party will always want that person to pay the consequences. Trump is fortunate that this is only what Cohen wanted him to be. At worst, his death could even have wished for it. There is nothing there to make a big fuss. This accusation does not hold water. What is that kind of defense?

A witness can have their feelings... especially when they went to jail because of the defendant. That doesn't mean their testimony under oath is any less important.

It makes me laugh when I hear Todd Blache is an experienced lawyer I wonder what your bench mark is because if that is your standards your legal system is as messed up as it appears.

Prosecutors do cross examinations of defense witnesses in every trial. Stop trying to excuse Blanche as if this is something completely unexpected for him to do.
