Thanks for a great lesson online. You stopped in grat spots to pause and give close ups and instructions to show the next steps. Appreciate the tables of number of beads per row instead of siy giving the complete amount in the initial listing of requirements as often happens. When I was unsure I could make the speed go slower to check that it is indeed 2 stitches then one skip to decrease not 3 then skip one. This looks addictive:) Thank you for making it accessible to more people, too, by having the subtitles.

Is the camera showing this in a flipped image? When you're joining the two heart pieces it looks like your row ended on the left side. Mine is ended on the right. If I join them facing the way you are it seems as if my stitches will be reversed, as if I'm crocheting left to right instead of right to left. This part has confused me because our pieces don't look the same. I wish I could attach am image to show you. The piece with the cut tail would have to be facing me, but in the video the piece with the working yarn is what is facing you.

The image at 17:16 shows where to continue crocheting after joining the two pieces. After you make the two connecting single crochets, you continue bead crocheting around the same piece you were crocheting before (not the one with the cut tail). Then once you do 16 bsc, you crochet around the other piece (with the cut tail), which basically creates one big round (with 32 st) out of the two pieces. I'm not 100% sure I understand what your piece looks like, so feel free to send me a picture at my email (caulicrochet@gmail.com) if you're still having trouble with it & I'll try to clarify!
