After watching this and starting crochet myself, I cannot understand how is it that some stores have this kind of pieces selling at 6€… it’s so much work, patience and love! Those prices are insane, I wouldn’t sell these myself for less that 25€ and still…😅
@Danysska

Hi, the cheap ones are mostly fake crochet, the beads are just wrapped around some cord. But I also see sometimes that someone sells it like that underpriced, and they don't care that they get five cents or something for an hour of work :D

Also, plain old slavery. If you see crochet in a store, it’s guaranteed to come from a sweatshop.

Thank you so much for your kind comment! Bead crochet is a bit complicated at the beginning, but once you get a bit of practice, you'll crochet without a problem. I struggled with it at first too, but now I crochet automatically and experiment with different beads and techniques.

Love this project. I do thread crocheting and would like to work with beads. This seems like quite a match for me. I will give it a try. I am not clear on the beginning where you are explains how and why you count the beads and divide them into sections to be worked and then joined. Hopefully I will figure it out. Thank you.
@Danysska

Thanks a lot and definitely give it a try. For starters, these two videos might help you, as they hopefully explain the beginning. kzread.info/dash/bejne/qpmu1pmMYpfPoNI.html kzread.info/dash/bejne/qaaorNiFmruWfLw.html It's easiest to start with a striped pattern, not just one colour, so you can easily control which loop to put the hook in. But you can find all that information in those videos, or I have more in the playlist. The information about dividing into sections, counting beads etc is more for the more advanced who have already mastered the basics.

Thank you for all your bead crochet videos I have been beading this technique for about 6 years Yours are the best ... I do have a question on the pattern I use jbead but I do not know how to print or adjust the pattern to include all the rows like yours.... ty
@Danysska

I simply use PrintScreen (Zoom Out the View to see all the rows) or export to pdf: File - Print - Name: Microsoft Print to PDF - Print
Thank you so much for sharing , AWESOME video , love the step/ step I would love to make a bracelet but a thinner one using your pattern, how many crochet chain would I use please to make a thinner bracelet ? Thank you very much again .
@Danysska
4 жыл бұрын
Thank you very much! Unfortunately you can't do it thinner, if you change the number of beads in one row the pattern would completely disintegrate. The only option is to remake the pattern in the Jbead software.
@Danysska
4 жыл бұрын
It also occurred to me that if you use smaller 15/0 beads, you will have a much smaller bracelet. But there is more work to be done.
Beautiful! Thank you for the pattern. Can I use a .75 hook?
@Danysska

Yes, of course :)
Hi Daniela, this is a very good video about bead crochet. I have done several other peyote projects, also peyote with a twist not crochet, but I found that there are many more patterns available for bead crochet. Also, I want to learn this technique just so I know how to do it. I have a question: when you start with the chain, how do you know to cast 20 stitches? I know that the circumference will be different depending on the number of stitches cast. Dakujem. veronika
@Danysska

I follow the pattern I want to crochet. On each pattern you find on the Internet, you have written how many beads are in one row, which corresponds to the number of initial stitches.

You are incredible! I’m wondering why you mentioned that you would use a slip stitch instead of single crochet for a project with a smaller circumference?
@Danysska
2 ай бұрын
It depends on the specific project, but usually a slip stitch is preferable for small diameters so that there is not so much thread inside.
I have a question that has probably been asked over and over, I downloaded Jbead and was playing around with it in the far left column, I will call the working column, lets say I wanted a small red heart, in that column it looks right but in the far right column, not sure what it looks like. Your Jbead tutorial is great so I am not sure if I missed something or not. Can you point me or do you have how to design a simple necklace with a small heart or one flower? Or in the far right column will be ok once your begin crocheting? Thank you so much, you are very talented and I sure appreciate all your tutorials.
@Danysska
3 жыл бұрын
The first graph called Draft gives you the stringing order. The stringing order starts at the top right, and goes to the bottom, right to left. This graph just represents the stringing order and doesn’t show you much of how the end result will look. Some people prefer to string the beads according to this graph. The second graph called Corrected shows how the pattern will look crocheted. It’s just still a flat representation of the pattern like the first graph. And the third graph called Simulation shows you how the finish bead crochet rope will look. You can see only 1 side of the rope but you can move it with the arrows. So if you wanna create some object like hearth or flower, it is the best to draw it in the second column.
It’s beautiful work! Just way too advanced for me.

Great video! I do have a question regarding the pattern. Would this patter work for just wrapping a rope? I can't crochet because of injuries to my wrists, but do like to wrap paracord. I have had the worst time figuring out patterns for the wrapping! Is there a beading program that helps a person figure out how to load the string? Thank you for sharing... 🤩🤩
@Danysska
Жыл бұрын
Hi, if you choose the right size paracord it will definitely work. You need to wrap it in such a way that the number of beads per row is kept, if you know what I mean :)
I can't find the free download! Love your work, and your style!

@Danysska

Hi, I'm sure you can use it. The process is exactly the same as classic crochet without beads.
Hi :), first of all is sooo lovely. I just wondering how did you do the pattern of the design, if there is a page or something.... I would like to do a purse with another design (with sunflowers or similar) and I don't know how to design it :( thxxx

@Danysska

Absolutely lovely, thanks! Do you happen to know of a programme for listing the bead order only? I have patterns and use graph paper to "manually" figure out the bead order. quite a daunting effort. Do you know of a programme where I can enter my patterns and get the bead order done for me? I tried JBead but the grid is too small and I had to recreate the pattern on it. cheers! :)
@Danysska
Жыл бұрын
Hi, I'm afraid I don't know. I use Jbead or I draw online at crochetbeadpaint.info. In both cases, the grid can be enlarged to a very large size to make it easier to draw. But in both cases you need to redraw the pattern.
