You should be able to find an easy tutorial on beading somewhere as they're all pretty much similar it's just weaving a needle through and round, just changing the beads you want! I used to do so many of these things for bracelets (smaller beads) and can be so fiddly!!

you could cut those clear plastic mesh sheets (i think theyre for cross stitch or something similar) and sew them to the inside of the bag using that same cording to give the bag some more structure! it came out so cute 🥰

I’ve owned an online store for a couple years now, and you completely inspired me to switch things up, and stop contributing to adding to the landfills. We now have an online second hand store. Yay. My daughter and I have 2 online stores also and everything we use is secondhand. Everything we make uses items sourced secondhand. It's so good to hear that there are others who are doing it too. Hugs from Australia 😊 xx

As person who beads I just wanted to say you can sometimes make beading stiffer or hold a shape better sometimes by going through the beads a couple of times if you don’t have the right string. I also wouldn’t start beading by learning the right angle weave stitch. which is the stitch you used when making the purse. But considering you haven’t done it before you did an awesome job and inspired me to try to making a purse in smaller beads to make a change purse and to see if you can do granny squares with those beads😊.

I 100% want a pattern for this bag. It's adorable and I need to make myself one!!!

Hi Jenna, I just wanted to tell you that you teach me important lessons in just taking things however the heck they are and not breaking a sweat over it as well as just trying things without having a finalized plan.Thank you for that! PS: Love that bag!

Love watching someone else struggle. Quick tip: It's fun hearing your beads click around, but if you work on a mat or tablecloth you'll save yourself a lot of running after stray beads. I have an almost finished perfect tiny bag to hang round my neck out of small plastic beads, but need to find a thin enough yet strong enough sting to finish the pattern, because, like you, I made it with the string I had and now It's clearly too fragile for use. You inspire me. Perhaps I will redo it soon.

be so careful with that bag! that string is known for snapping and completely destroying all of the hard work you put into it. it's so gorgeous and I'm absolutely going to remake it, but I've lost so many hours of work because of the string snapping. I'm honestly shocked it didn't snap when you were tightening it.

If you wanted to add some structure to the bottom, you could always cut down one of those clear plastic pieces they put in some of those reusable grocery bags or polycover to reinforce it a little.

Cute bag for semi winging it. I’d probably use lighter acrylic beads and a heavier fishing line but hey you accomplished what you set out to do and the results were great. Looking forward to the pattern.

Great bag. I would definitely reinforce the strap. You can get the right thread size and thread all around the outside to help secure & stiffen the bag and strap. Also if one thread breaks to other will keep it together 🤞👍😁
