Basically, they are concave layers starting from the center of the head. A similar effect can be achieved with a ponytail haircut by placing the ponytail in the center of the head, right? I really like the effect.

This is beautiful! Can this be done on thin fine hair?
Paul…. Solve the grey hair problem for us older baby boomers!! I don’t want to go grey but the 3 weekly root color is so tedious. Hair is mostly white/ grey but too grey to look good without coloring the remaining 10 % of dirty blonde. If only there was something I could throw on my hair without the 40 mins which actually doesn’t do much 💞💞💞
