I have curly hair, and it is amazing (and frustrating) the number of hairdressers who do not know/cannot perfect curly hair, precision cuts! Thanks for recognizing, and addressing, the difficulty that we encounter!

@@PaulWattsHair I no longer have my former hairdresser who I had for years, who also had curly hair. I have been in search since (six months), attempting to establish a hairdresser who either has curly hair or established expertise with curly hair. I understand your comments so well. Thanks!

@@brendahull4910 a consultation will be a must and don't be afraid to have consultations with multiple stylists. Find the one who's excites you and gets your vision.

I have curls, from long tot short. I cut myself. The best curl cuts for me, are the layers. I love the bob in different lenght.

Hats off for acknowledging us curly girls. I have strong 3A curls and both my current and last hairdresser (in London) became my hairdresser husband / wife for 10+ years! :) You're so right that it's best to ask for one "who loves curls". Mine cuts a perfect modern blunt jaw-length bob, so don't ever believe a hairdresser who says that's not possible with curls!

My XXL hair between tailbone and thigh length was my most carefree style ever tbh. Its just there, great, no styling needed :) I am struggling much more with cutting and styling short hair rn (from short bog to shoulderlength). Which is fun but can be annoying.

I love that you address curly hair. I have curly hair with longer layers that falls below the shoulders and considering at the shoulders and lots of layers. If I want to wear it both straight and curly what cut should I go for?

A good consultation is needed, without seeing your hair it's impossible to know, as curl type and texture determine the style. But book in a consultation with a stylist and talk it out. Take pictures with you. Thank you for commenting appreciate it

How would one go about getting a hair cut and style from a real professional? I need a better style and so afraid of the hairdressers just doing their own thing. I have long, coarse, wavy hair and I think I need more layers but really don't know. I am an older female and like longer hair.

Love this question. So research and more research, then when you think you've found the one. Book in for a consultation with that stylist. You'll feel the vibe and energy of the wanting to create magic on you. Ask to see pictures of work, but you will feel the vibe.

Were about is your salon ? First time watching from the west midlands uk 🇬🇧 . I want a dramatic change my hair is mermaid hair and really really long its just above my hips :o I am looking to get it chopped to the shoulders with a shaggy messy bob with lots of volume and texture my hair is already naturally wavy/shaggy. I would also want a dramatic color change from my level 4 dark brown to a level 10 my aim would be in the end to get to a grey silver so I could add some funky semi permanent colors x

Not necessarily, you could have it an inch either side of the middle.

My hair is XXL hair no extensions needed. I saw it and decided to watch your video.

@@PaulWattsHair another reason I watched was the picture showed a XXL haired girl with curly hair and I wondered if that was the trend for XXL hair. I watched and it didn't seem to matter if it was straight or curly. Thanks again for the video.
