    LOVE your app! Thank you. I recently fell in love with a block and ended up with a very messy (freestyle ) drawing with my math so I could turn it into a quilt. I didn’t want to cut setting fabric pieces without assurance I had enough fabric. 🥰

    Great way to use fabric that are just taking up space with no planned quilt. Not surprised that I have to managed to have a collection of over purchased lots. Your explanation of calculating fabric needs will definitely help in the over or under purchasing. Thanks Carol this is all fantastic. 👍❤️🙂

    Thank you, Carol for another great tutorial and link to the free pattern. I like how you subcut the amount of fabric needed for several squares and then cut the actual squares. Thanks for the tip. I agree that aligning a quarter inch with fabric is much better for me to see.

    Thank you very much Carol. I am very grateful for this demonstration. It is very helpful as I have not seen anyone else do it this clearly and with so much information, especially with the use of an app. Are the binding strips calculated by joining strips without bias?

  • @CarolThelen

    @CarolThelen

    5 ай бұрын

    Yes the binding strips are cut along the crosswise grain!
