LOL 😂 ..... "jellyroll strips need to fulfill their destiny." Yes indeed. I have about 25 jellyroll strips still in their tight little cellophane wrappers waiting to fulfill their destiny 😮. I am enjoying your videos a lot 😊🎄

Lordy, I went and did a quick check and I have about 65, including solids. I am 69 years old and have enough fabric to outlive me. 😂 looks like I'd better get busy.
Enjoyed the jelly roll projects.
Wonderful tutorial! Newbie quilter here with jelly rolls on the way to fulfill their destiny😂

Welcome! Hope you enjoy our videos.
Thank you for your teaching videos.
That was so enjoyable to watch, thank you. Thoroughly enjoyed it. I love simple quilts that don’t take forever to put together. Such cute patterns.
Thank you so much for these squares. I love your tutorials. So easy to follow & understand. I drew all these onto paper and wrote down the measurements & instructions. I have only been making quilt tops since Aug and have already finished four quilts. I have not used a pattern on any of them yet.. I have a friend who actually does the longer quilting for me. I have never worked on quilt tops before now. I waited til I was 69yrs old to start. I've also made some pot holders & table runners for gifts.
Excellent ideas for this newbie. You are a gifted teacher. Thank you for sharing your talent:) best wishes from the USA. I am confident with these ideas presented.

I agree that these are great for a total beginner like me. She IS a good teacher - From the beautiful southern Oregon coast in the USA. :)

how large a quilt from each of the jellyrolls?
In the background of your video, you show a patchwork dog. I used to have one when my kids were little but no longer have it. Do you have the pattern or a link to the pattern for it? Thank you for your time in helping me!

Kate from the KZread channel the last homely house has a video showing how to make one (I believe). She uses English paper piecing to make it
If you can’t or don’t know how to pick fabrics…. Buy a color wheel it shows contrasting colors and complimentary colors

Use your imagination and pick what you like. There are no fabric police out there.
Wow, I have never purchased a jelly roll, honey bun etc,. I only buy yardage. I don’t get why they are so desirable.

I think people like them because they are pre-cut, so it's a lot less work when you are starting. The downside, to me, is that you are not free to choose the combination of exact colors and patterns that you prefer. In a jellyroll, you can end up with some fabrics which you don't like: the duds.
