My mom years ago called me to tell me my grandmother her mom told her that it hurts when granddad & her have sex. If course my first thoughts were I hope I'm still able to be that active like my grandparents when I get that age. Then I proceeded to tell my mom about what they (my grandparents) And I explained about lube and my mom became quite I could hear crickets and I remember who I was talking to so I just said they should just tell the doctor. The next time I saw them I gave my grandma a present and told her where they could go to get more. My mom was shocked that they were still active I was jealous.

@@SarahConnor562 The Florida bill is actually vague & gives way to many potential lawsuits. Kinderish age classes often have the students draw pictures of their family. The teacher wouldn't be allowed to interact/discuss with the child drawing a picture of 2 same gender parents. Show & tell stories involve let's say what the students did over the weekend/holiday break. No interaction/elaboration can occur in that scenario either. Actually, by discussing that the student has mother/father parents is in itself describing heterosexuality. Homo/trans phobic AHoles don't even realise what they are actually doing with that bill. AND a new legislation in Louisiana is trying to do the same but broadening it to K-8th. That's BEYOND rediculous. All the phobes are "outting" themselves.

There was a massive argument on Reddit a few years ago about parents providing sex toys to their underage children. The vast majority of people were of the opinion that it's as bad as pedophilia. Personally, I feel like it's safer to provide a product designed for those types of activities rather than leaving things up to the imagination of horny adolescents who commonly resort to using random household items instead.

I dunno, that kinda sounds like being the "cool" mom that serves alcohol to me. And what kid is going to say he/she wants those anyway? Even kids who do aren't usually going to talk to mom about it. Which leaves parents assuming their kids ARE doing this stuff and buying it, which in turn leads the kids to believe they're expected to do it, even if the thought hadn't occurred to them by that point. You're not allowing for preferences at that point, you're shaping them. And that gets into some shady territory fast. I do think talking to your kids about sexuality is important, but I'm not sure enabling certain behaviors is a good idea.

This is one of MANY reasons I always wanted to become a doctor. So people would be more comfortable, educated and met with kindness, patience and understanding. Patients.... but also when I would hold any lectures for colleagues or just chat, I bet I'd bring this up, being kind gets everyone far. 😌💙

Austin is 👍👍👍🥰. Its actually really smart, to have that talk with the parent. Cuz, let's say Austin only talks to the boy. & The boy might not have $$ to go buy a proper toy, or would be embarrassed to get it thru Amazon. It would just result in more continued foreign objects being stuck. But if the parent gets a proper "toy" for him and just places it in his room, wholla! 👍

I was studying to be a paramedic. Anyways they taught us how to be professional for these types of situations. However, the guy who was teaching the class was hilarious. He work in the er on a air force base. Said he had a patient that "accidentally" sat on a bomb shell. They had the evacuate the area and called the bomb squad to disarm it. I never laughed so hard in my life. Great job to the medical world at being professional for these types of "accidents." He said they had to take turns helping him when they thought they were going to crack up laughing

I had an adult male patient who ended up losing his penis (it had to be surgically removed due to necrosis) because he used a large metal key ring as a co*k ring. It became stuck and he waited too long to come to the ER. This was 20 plus years ago and while there was an “adult book store” in town, it wasn’t a common subject people discussed. I always felt so terrible for this man. Had he used a regular adult item. He may still have his penis

And the mother asked me "Would you allow your daughter to have sex before marriage?!" And I wasn't even married at that time and was like "What". She didn't even apologize for that question.

Fun fact Mr. Steve. Before I started working in geriatrics, I handled medical assistance for a couple years. And yes, one of the hospital admissions we were asked to pay for was "large foreign object in rectum." It was one of those pink vibrators that were sold as "massagers" back then. And of course it was in the "on" position. According to my contact at the hospital, the ER staff just parked him until the battery ran down (WHEE!) then gave him a serious laxative and he expelled it.

You don't state your age, but please, seek reliable, safe, factual information related to sex education. Your local plannedparenthood can help you with information to any of your questions. As a young person, the price of genuine sex toys may be pricey, but the safe use of genuine sex toys is far more important than risking complications from using improvised items. Be safe❤
