Try using gem gel as an adhesive next time and cure with a led light also buff the nail and the inside of the artificial nail they will stay forever sis.

Yesss! I’ve been doing press ons for months now (pre-quarantine) and I’m so glad others are getting turned on to them. I do mine pretty much exactly the same as you do, and they last for weeks! I’m rough on my hands too. For press ons with stronger tips that won’t bend (if you’re clumsy like me and bump your fingers into everything), I’d go with the ‘Better Than Salon’ natural acrylic nails by Kiss. The one that mentions the nails being 10x stronger on the box. Those have yet to fail me if I follow these steps right! Hard gel is next to tackle. Bye salons! 💕

great video! I just bought press on nails to keep my nails done during quarantine and im excited to try this out.

Used to go to salons, but no matter where I went, I always ended up getting male techs, who would just be so rough with my hands. Or my cuticles would get cut too much and bleed. Or in general techs were always in such a rush and weren’t always gentle. When I got nail fungus after getting a fill in, I was done. Press ons were a last resort, almost like healing caps to reinforce my paper thin, brittle nails as they grew out. I remember Lee Press On nails 😄, and was happy to find press ons have improved greatly. I’ve been doing press on nails for over a year now, and through trial and error have ended up doing the same method as you. Your advice is spot on! Press ons are so inexpensive, and when done well, look very convincing! A few extra tricks I’ve picked up… 1. Make sure your hands are nice and warm 2. That little cuticle cutter is also great for removing press ons; just lift up and use it to slice though the adhesive. A wide nail file works well to remove the gummy leftovers 3. Take the extra nails and an extra tube of glue, tuck them in cute little case and toss in your purse for emergencies. (Oddly enough, when I did glue on nails, I was always losing a nail. But glued on press ons actually seem to stay on better. And they seem to get loose as opposed to just randomly popping off. Very easy to fix quickly. 4. If two sizes seem to fit well, go with the smaller nail. 5. Clear coat polish ❤️

I’ve been doing glue on nails off and on for years. I have tried the Kiera sky gel nails, I’ve tried the apres nails -I still go back to glue. It’s much easier, cheaper and less time-consuming. Thank you so much for that glue remover! I’ve never seen it! I am buying it ASAP! Great video

For alcohol I use a paintbrush and brush isopropyl alcohol on my nails. I just like it better because it doesn’t get cotton anywhere.

I use polygel to "glue" the nails on. The nails get much stronger with polygel and it's healthier for your nails. Glue can cause air bubbles and moisture can get under the press on nails. You don't want that! Also you have to put a lot of pressure on the nail to make it stick with the glue. The pressure can cause ridges in your natural nails. Happened to me 🥺 Took a long to time to grow them out. My press ons last for about 3 to 4 weeks. 🤗 I also use a top coat (led lamp). This will protect the press on from breaking and damage.

@@Swameh I soak them in warm water with some oil (olive oil, coconut ect.) Then I can easily remove the press on and the polygel i can file that of gently. You don't use much polygel so removing is easy.

Girl they have shut down NC and I didn't even get to celebrate my daughter's 9th birthday. To some people it might not be that big of a deal because a birthday comes every year. But I have sickle cell anemia and I have always been sick or in the hospital on her birthday. The last birthday party I was able to attend was her 4th birthday so being able to celebrate the 9th was really important to me. But NOOOO!! Ms. Rona had other plans. Now today is my sisters birthday and its the same thing all over again.

That's the adhesive. It's good for press on nails along with applying glue. That's how I keep my press on nails longer

So not using rubbing alcohol, apply glue to the nail itself and washing my hands within the first 30 minutes is my downfall. Got it lol

I nearly fell on the damn floor when she said "Do Not Wash your hands" I thought she was going to say ALOT to make the nails last. But she said "Do not wash your hands for 3 hours." Then i felt fine. Cause some people will make a mistake in a video and say "Try not to wash hands for a day. "

That begining made my fingers hurt I just remember when I have some press on nails and when I tried to open cans I could feel my nails coming off

Excuse me if you are making this serum then why haven't I received my order it has been five months now I have been emailing you and have not received anything at all. You also charged me for next day delivery. I have read your other post and seen other people comment on the same issues. what you can at least do is reply back. Apply a coat of gel on top of the nails. By adding that layer, it will make the nail a bit stronger.

I make and sell custom press ons and your prep routine is damn near perfect. 👌 I send instructions for proper application with every set that I sell, and my instructions are almost the same as your prep routine! 😊

They definitely last for a week before popping off especially if you have to clean dishes but cute video

What sucks about these is that after the edge start lifting they start pulling your hair out.. and I got a fungus

Try using tabs do the same thing just use tabs instead of glue it's alot healthier and better for your nails and it lasts about 2-3 weeks for me ☺️😅

The push down with cutical oil is a step I have never seen before as well as the kiss glue remover. I will have to try this. My press one never last longer than 3 days to a week. Tfs

I have followed every prep step and still my nails are lifting or popping off, sometimes before the end of the same day. HELP 😩😭 Update so was suggested to use a different primer, two coats. So followed all steps including the tip of a different primer. They lasted a bit longer. Next day three off.🙄 think I'll give up.

Use real super glue instead of nail glue and you will be set. When u ready to soak off just use pure acetone

Try sanding the bottoms of the fake nails and getting the sides with glue. I put a lot on tbh

So I watched this whole video for no reason lol the tip to making my press on acrylics last longer is to not wash my hands for 3 hours?

1. Use nail dehydrator 2.Use gorilla glue brush on type 3.very important use dish gloves to to prevent putting your hands in water when you shower use the gloves only time your hands should be in water is to wash them Dry thoroughly and apply alcohol you do not want fungus getting underneath from the moisture

jummy the primer goes on after buffing your natural nail but take a cotton swab with alcohol or acetone and wipe away the dust/debris after buffing.... never file your natural nail you could do harm so just use a buffer Hope this helps!!
