This is now my Default Installation system for Windows 11 (Unsupported Hardware). I have it installed on a 480GB SSD in a Sabent Docking station. During Installation onto the SSD it is possible to Partition the Storage device (Flash Drive ot SSD) to allow most of the drive to be left free. This free Partition can be formatting in NTFS and used for Macrium Reflect Image files. I also created 2 versions during installation, on one SSD I used "Secure Boot" & "GPT" and on a second SSD I used "No SecureBoot" & "MBR" - Fantastic!

Hi Brian, I see the latest version of Rufus also now give you options to disable, after you have copied an ISO to the USB stick.

Great hack, I used it to install an isolated Win11 on VirtualBox on my Linux LMDE5 machine. Works! That's as far as I would trust any Microsoft product these days. In a cage, with no internet and no shared folders. Very safe.

Brilliant information from Brian just tried it and it works a breeze love it.

Ok, Brian two queries mate if there are multiple ISO's on the flash drive how do you choose the one you want and if you are installing Windows 11 on unsupported hardware how do you activate it is it just that you need CDSales for a code and use that? I am currently running 11 on my old Ivy Bridge but I don't remember the way that I got it to go as I did not use this method but it was one of your videos. But great video all the same mate keep them coming.😀

In the process of buying a new laptop and as most come with w11 installed can I use this Ventoy disk to overwrite stock w11 with a version of w11that doesn't check secure boot. So I can dual boot W11 and Linux??

Hi want ask u something? Why do i need create a folder ISO and put the windows there? When i put the ventoy folder +ventoy.jcsn in usb after when i try boot from usb ventoy say he can not find any ISO, so if i create a folder called ISO and put there all the iso files all working good.

The problem is that you are stuck on the Windows 11 build you install this way. Windows Update will install updates but NOT new builds, like 22H2.

Interesting.... Ventoy is making changes to system registry to bypass checks? After windows 11 install with ventoy in registry is key LabConfig or not?

I have a win 11 pro disk. Is there an easy way to load over win7 without losing everything?

Good informative video for going to Windows 11 - hopefully Microsoft will remove those requirements that stop people from upgrading perfectly good hardware. FYI - you need to create a ISO folder and put the Win ISO in that folder so Ventoy can see it.

can the cdkey be used on a already installed windows or only on fresh install

I've been using Ventoy for the last few years to install OSes on my PCs and friends PCs. Who knew that a lot of different OSes could all fit on and install/load from a single 64GB flash drive? I have Windows XP, 7, 8.1, 10, and 11 main release and beta channel all ready to install on PCs as old as 20 years. Plus many different flavors of Linux and even diagnostic and repair software that emulate an OS atmosphere: Avira Rescue System, Hiren BootCD PE, Kaspersky Rescue Disk 18, Ubuntu, WinPE 10-8....... I'm gonna need to upgrade to a 128GB flash drive soon.

Hey, Brian!! Whether I use Rufus or Ventoy, just like as shown in this video at 11:44, it boots straight to this screen of allowing me to access Recovery tools. Is this normal now or did I do something wrong?

Can this work if ur laptop originally doesn’t support win 11?

This is a temp check if your windows update box is Green Yellow or Red, this will give you a red box on the final release you will get unenrolled and Windows 11 is gone you need a green box to qualify.

Rufus suck, Ventoy u can install so many ISO in 1 pendrive usb. Easy n powerful. Rufus only 1 iso for 1 pendrive.

Great video! It's the absolute best way to bypass the requirements without actually modifying the registry directly.

The main difference between OEM and Retail is that the OEM license does not allow moving the OS to a different computer, once it is installed.

Brian! I seen you change the 0 to 1 to enable the; Bypass. If you have multi ISO files etc.. & want Windows ISO Default you'd need to edit-> /ISO/debian_netinstall.iso to match ISO you want first right? I've never edited that option, that's why I'm asking In-case I got it wrong 👍

Am I OK to change the default ISO file in the Json from this "VTOY_DEFAULT_IMAGE": "/ISO/debian_netinstall.iso" to a Windows ISO file? I've edited lots of things in the past but never changed that option. As I've only ever used it for 1 ISO but I'm going to be adding a list of tools so just want to be sure I that's the right one before i edit it.

More ways to install Windows 11. This is all good to know stuff. BTW, I downloaded the 5 gigabyte file in exactly 3 minutes thanks to Cox internet. And this is just their basic account. I could pay more for faster downloads but I don't need to, really. Thanks Brian for finally covering Ventoy and how to use it.

I put windows 10 on my 64gb usb drive and it's Wright protected it, it's useless now, can't ues the drive no longer

ventoy sadly doesn't work with my laptop's UEFI

I just found an easier way. (Easier for me at least) Extract all contents from a clean ISO of Win11, either edit or replace the "appraiserres.dll" with one already edited, recompile the contents back into an ISO and install as with any clean ISO. It's not too difficult to find the "appraiserres.dll" file already edited online. It worked for me either by mounting the ISO, burning to DVD or USB installation. I really hope MS either loosens their restrictions or at least don't start breaking OSs with "updates".

Ventoy has got to be the best little utility going. I have it on a 114GB USB key with umpteen Linux distros and a couple of Windows ISOs. Magic.

yes it's good via winusb you can open the console and shit no matter which windows 11 or system instalker as a second system you only need the bypass stories because microsoft doesn't do anything. you can also run reg edit from the console, insert your saved bipass directly into reg and then start win simply on usb adapter from every output where you have it then delete your 1 system from usb for the third time, use the usb 3.0 system as 1 system clone disc start again with win usb stick and set it up so that it starts from the stick your system then call up the console again beforehand and start a virtual windows as a 2 system that installs it at control panel uninstall programs you can install vr win and you cores and ssd and assign memory as much as you have the shit you copy the path you are looking for in the original and make a copy iso out then you can start clone disc in 1 system usb 3.0 4k start set points yes that you have to install everything and use the vr windows as autostart 4k so make sure you have enough memory that will be your main system for bikes via the iso via clown disc look at the path from your original wi dows installed and install the vr and copy it orgibal as a vr start file so far playing around with the orger assignments maybe you're up for it or be prepared for control you need 1 windows that loads like an iso and can be used as a vr exe like a program that starts and that's it a way to convert single cpus to dual cpus with rade speed up and use dual gpus software to be better or as I said go 8k get an emu that loads win 11 and that adapts to 4k and games emu of 1080p 1440p with internet i am no longer on the pc eibfach only because otherwise they screw everything up for me again i have helped enough. you have to do the rest of the steps yourself. sorry i don't trust that crap only as the main system without control registered freely

That's what my system is like it's just the CPU but everything else is fine.

Gosh this seems like a massive F ^&&* up by microsoft . My 2011 sony Vaio runs lovely on a Wind7 but the laptop cannot take windows 10 ( graphcs card ) as listed by the manufacturer. I assume win11 is even worse . I want to do a fresh install after so many software adds. What might you recommend, a new win7 install or something else ?

@@Britec09 I did. That was the first thing I did before downloading the ESET ISO. Surprisingly, it was listed. The ISO shows up in the menu but selecting it messes up the screen and system hangs. Tried different flash drive and same result. Tried Kaspersky Rescue and booted with no issues.

How can I make ISO for MS Office?

I can't download the Windows 11 ISO in Canada, it's banned here and I get an error message. Besides, Windows 11 reminds me of COVID-19 as the image looks like an unraveled roll of blue toilet paper!

There is a ways you can put an Admin back. Hold Shift key why restarting & keep holding it why it boots windows, Until you see; advanced recovery options menu, then let shift go. Click troubleshoot, then advance options & then command prompt. Once that's open type this: net user administrator /active:yes after entering that command close the command box off and reboot the PC and you 'should' be able to login. Failing that you'll need to do it via USB boot & custom install.

Win11 is free upgrade on win10 pro :) i wont install it yet want make sure its better 1 year L8tr still thinking about it mite be a few new win11 apps work better but haven't heard or need anyway . hang10 windows
