I only know the root/home maj7 chord. That's it I'm totally hopeless I tried playing this on my accoustic guitar But it doesn't sound right I just couldn't place the right chords that goes with the melody Too bad As I love the song so much Even after months of practising I still sound like a wounded cat. Man...

@@thesnortgringe5276 Yeah there's a bit more going on than what phoebe said I think. If you imagine a barred g chord on a guitar so G D G B D G, Then put an A at the bottom A D G B D G. That's the first chord. Then move the bottom of your index finger down to fret the top strings at the second fret so you get A D G Bb Db, Gb. So it is Gmin/A but you've also got the Db and Gb at the top too. It's a stretch but it can be done.

Actually you could just play an open A note with the g triad on the top strings (notes B D G) and then open A again with the triad all shifted down a fret so it's like f#/a.
