Tinkercad Circuits are fun and educational. Today we make an LED blink using a 555 IC as a timer. Have fun and explore circuits at the same time.
Parts list:
Battery Snap
R1 6.8K ohm
R2 16K ohm
R3 220 ohm
C1 10 ųF cap
555 IC Timer
LED

I remember playing with this chip thirty plus years ago. Was a fairly common DIY project on model railroads for making crossing flashers blink. Wonder if the booklet Radio Shack published for various 555 projects is still somewhere in my parents basement.

Do you know alternative to Tinkercad circuit? Too bad, very useful components like CD4026 , regular 5-pin Relay, and XNOR logic are not available.

I do not. Since I was using it in a middle school classroom, it was really just for fun anyhow.

I would guess that there is a wire not connected correctly. What sort of error are you seeing?
