Can you provide us with the program with both forward and reverse functionality of the motors? That would be so helpful. Thanks :)

If you use a flyback diode for the motors, you won't have to worry about the motors accidentally producing current. You could then use a 5-volt regulator to power the Arduino with the lipo battery.

How are you connecting that USB 5V battery? Are you connecting that through the inline regulator and then using the 5v out of the board to power the bread board/accessories? Or are you using the battery to power the breadboard and then feeding the power into the Adruino/accessories from the board? Sorry for my confusion.

Have you had any problems powering the Arduino with battery pack? Most seem to switch off if there isn't a certain amount of power drawn. I was hoping to power a small arduino project that way.

MrBryanhanna you may be better off wiring your own battery pack and a charging circuit if it's something complex or just wiring up a jst connector to a voltage regulator and plugging a Li-poly or a Li-Ion battery directly into that. If it's really dead simple, an alkaline battery box of appropriate voltage may even be the best option.

If you want to do this with a drone use Ardupilot. It is readily available and has a nice gui

u dont u use bluetooth to measure the distance from the cooler to the phone then u find the location with it
