Make a quilt journal to keep track of your progress with your quilting projects and fun life events!
This is a fun project to make for yourself or to give as a gift!
Fabric / Supplies needed:
Journal front - 13" x 19"
(trimmed to 10 1/2 x 16" after quilting)
Batting - 13"x19"
Backing - 13" x 19"
Lining- 10 1/2" x 16"
2 inside covers - 10 1/2" x 14"
2 pieces of ribbon 13" long
2 rectangles 5 1/2" x 6"
Fill your Journal with pictures and stories of all your finished projects this year. Or use it for whatever you want to remember! Add bits of fabric from the projects you're working on, include cards, receipts, and pictures. Get out the fun markers, stamps, and stickers to jazz up the pages. The possibilities are endless! Have fun and make some memories!

I love that conversion chart on the back page so I made that inside panel out of vinyl!
Great video instruction and journal cover. Love your fabrics! Thank you.
Love this cute bag. Great instructions!
This is a really lovely gift for a quilt friend or, better still, yourself! A crochet hook or knitting needle make a good corner-turner! Also, if your budget allows, get a gridded notebooks with good-quality paper. I know we can buy dollar notebooks, but good paper makes writing more enjoyable, and won’t allow ink to bleed through. And a gridded paper (instead of a lined one) makes it easier to work on quilt patterns.

Awesome! Thank you!
Thanks,
I love it and made one already.
Such a darling idea and great chat! Thanks for posting!
I’m definitely going to make this! I would love to be able to look back on my quilting year. I’ve done a lot but all of my projects don’t come to mind when I think back even though I TRY to take pictures of each one. Thank you! I’m going to order your stickers too.
Love it!
I have already made three of these: one for a quilting journal, one for a reading journal, and one for teaching ideas. The person whose name I picked at work for Secret Santa loves to journal, so I'm going to make another one!

Thank you so much!
I have a planner I would like to do this with. How did you determine the size of fabric and the size of pockets. You did a great job
This was my first time watching your channel, thanks to the YT algorithm recommending you and I enjoyed your tutorial very much, thank you. May I suggest you do not use background music whilst you are speaking as it’s very hard to hear you. As someone with a hearing impairment, following a tutorial with written captions is difficult when you’re trying to watch what is being made. This is not a criticism of you as your tutorial was very easy to follow due to your clear instruction. Greetings from rural Victoria, Australia 👋😀🇦🇺
