Since I haven't been able to go out for years.. THIS is my kind of pumpkin patch!! I LOVE it. For some reason this quilt has really touched me deeply. That is very unusual for me! Thank you so much Jenny. I honestly still don't think you realize how many lives you have changed and the hearts you've helped healed or those of us trying to heal. AGAIN, THANK YOU!! 💙

Peggy, so sorry you’ve been struggling with health issues. I’ve been struggling with mine for years too. The MSQC (and others) has definitely kept me going. There isn’t too much in this life, that I can do anymore, but I can still sew and quilt! When I can’t sew, these videos keep me going until I can again. And they’re great company when I can’t sleep. Which is every night! Lol. I Pray the future finds you in better health and romping through a pumpkin patch. Even if it’s just in a pumpkin patch quilt! Take care Peggy.

Peggy, Do you belong to MSQC Forum? I've made so many wonderful friends there. I too am chronically ill, and there's days I don't get out either. Jenny and her amazing tutorials. There's a video on YT that was made I believe with Jenny & the local TV station and she talks about how she receives letters and cards that people send to her and she was amazed how many people tell her pretty much what you have in your comment here. Each week I wait patiently for Jenny's tutorial(and yes, I get up EVERY Friday at 12:30 AM to watch the newest tutorial...honest!).....she's like a BFF to many, including me. She's amazing, funny, witty....and although the entire family is what makes MSQC....she is the heart of that business. I dread the day when MSQC announces that Jenny will no longer be doing the weekly tutorials.....I really do! (and I am choking up as I write this LOL!) As of late, Misty (Jake's wife ) has been doing some videos and I DO enjoy her tutorials.....she has a style of her own to her tutorials. Some viewers don't like the banter between Misty and Jake....but I think it's fine, it's just different than Jenny, and we all resist change, let's face it. Is Misty the "new" face of MSQC? Who knows, but whoever takes over Jenny's tutorials YEARS down the road (I hope) has BIG SHOES to fill..... Jenny you probably don't realize just how many people you touch on a weekly basis....but then, maybe you do(?). Your the best "Quilting Therapy" out there....to many of us. God Bless.....

@@holiday-td6hx Peggy....where is this MSQC Forum? I can't find a link to join.
Watching this a year later and COVID-19 is still an issue in Michigan where I live. So enjoy MSQC coming into my home via computer! Quilting videos are a passion! Thanks!
Really fun idea. I think one row would make a great table runner. Other blocks could be made for table mats.
My favorite is to see how much fun you have and the sparkle you sparkle when you really let your creative soul run! It's such a happy punkin quilt - love it.
We don’t do Thanksgiving in Australia but I think I’ll do this as a fruity quilt. I’m seeing pineapples, melons and apples! Thanks for the inspiration MSQC!

My husband and I just moved 2 of our daughters, and their families, to Vermont. With all the road construction going on, by the time we got back home to Oregon, I was mighty sick of orange. And then you do this! Now I have to like orange again!!! Thanks a lot 😉😉😂😂

Dawn Williams For your daughters, Welcome to Vermont!
The pink& blue etc take this quilt to the next level from "orange to fall". I love it.
I live in Northern CA and was affected by the four day power outages as I'm oxygen and CPAP dependent. We finally got power tonight and am back home once again (so grateful family living just and hour away never had their power interrupted). Saw this tutorial and it has re-energized me and lifted my depression. Thank you, you help more than you know.

We're so sorry for all that you've had to go through recently Janice. Glad the power is back on and that you are doing okay. Please let us know if there is anything we can do for you.
Such a darling quilt. I wish I had HALF the time it would take to make all the adorable quilts Jenny tempts me with. I can feel her enthusiasm for this project. You go girl!!!
I love watching your videos, you're so enthusiastic and cute. "I didn't think it'd be a pumpkin quilt, but when I got going, it just wanted pumpkins so bad."
You made me giggle when you giggled when you ripped apart the one strip set!!! I’ve never seen that done and will just have to try it!! God bless!
Glad you did this quilt where each of the blocks are different but they all come together similarly! What fun! This will be a challenge to those who want to do an exact replication but will allow others the freedom to create their own pumpkin patch!
Love the creative freedom of this quilt, i love the verity of the pumpkins. Not all the same for a change

We're so glad you enjoyed watching this tutorial Dianne57 M.! Happy quilting! :)
Another fabulous quilt thanks Jenny. What I also love is how your cardigans always match the quilts!! x
Jenny, how refreshing it is to watch you in action! When I find myself stressing over the minor details which can kill the enjoyment of seeing something beautiful. Or cute. Or funny.. coming together under my hands I have lost the whole reason I began learning to quilt! Then watching one of your enthusiastic tutorials that’s filled with so much common sense helps me adjust that overly intense ME, take a deep breath and remember why I began my quilting adventure. Thanks again. Hope you keep track of your amazing life with your great sense of humor to maybe eventually put together a book full of your life’s adventures, loves and even trials and how that upbeat, positive common sense attitude helped you and your family through life. Joy is contagious. Just wanted to thank you. If I could possibly be at your Oklahoma show I’d love it. Health problems preventing that this time. Take care.

I really love this! I am not a 'matchy matchy' quilt person so I love how you turned some of the stripes sideways and mixed it up a little! I love that! Thanks so much for another awesome tutorial.... love all your videos!

"Dont try this at home"! You are so funny! And your giggle is so adorable and makes me smile. You just have a way of making us feel like you are talking to us personally and our friend! And on that note, I LOVE this block pattern!
Wow you did it again!! Love this quilt. I love that you made sure that each pumpkin had a inch and a half background strip on the bottom. It makes it very pleasing to the eye as you scan across each row.
this has to be my absolute favourite quilt you have done. I noticed a different vibe in how you were approaching it and once you mentioned learning to paint it became clear, especially with such a sophisticated colour palette
Thank you Jenny, I love the way you explain how you create a quilt.

For me, it's the cloves. It isn't just pumpkin pie spice but apple pie and hams, too (well anything with cloves in it). Most recipes are very heavy-handed with cloves. Depending on the recipe I will cut the amount in half and sometime to a quarter.

J judy I hear you on the cloves! My father made spaghetti with whole cloves when I was a kid. I haven’t been able to eat anything with them in it since. If a recipe require them, I use only the barest amount, and NEVER whole! 😝 And never in my apple pie.
Love it😊👏 thank you Jenny for encouraging and teaching beginner quilters like myself!!!
I love the spontaneity of this quilt so much!
I have enjoyed your tutorials very much.
that is adorable, there are drawbacks to living in Hamilton, where the fabric is way to close to the house, lol,,,,,,,thanks for another great video Jenny, so happy to have that little ruler, it is actually one of my favorite and used everyday

I love this with the different size pumpkins.
I'm thinking of wall hangings or table topper and place mats. Might also be neat to run edging around the pumpkin. That way they mighff look applicayed on also.
OH ..MY.. GOSH ‼️ I absolutely love this quilt! Thanks Jenny. 😄 And this idea of the pumpkins can be used in so many projects. 😉
Very fun. Love the variety of pumpkin shapes and sizes and I adore the quilting pattern.
I'll working on this hopefully this weekend. I see a great autumn table runner but just using a few in different sizes. Thanks Jenny.

A great quilt! I love it. You give clear instructions, but allow for us, perhaps, not having perfected our quarter inch. Thanks Jenny xxx
Love the pumpkins! Personally, I like everything to look hand pieced, so I’d probably do a half snail trail for the stem.

Thanksgiving is just what we call it in the US. It’s intent is to be grateful (to G-d) when the main harvest was in before winter. It’s a time that has been celebrated throughout the world for thousands of years, under many different names. We call it “Thanksgiving” in honor of the Pilgrim’s who celebrated their very first harvest (in the new world, which is now the US), by thanking G-d for their bounty as a community with a prayer and a feast.
