Hey Rob, I checked the "back catalog", and don't see anything about handkerchiefs... I inherited the "habit" from my pops; trouble is, they're hard to find in the stores these days, and when you *do* find 'em, they're expensive. So I figured, what could be easier! Wrong! If you can demystify that itty-bitty hem, that would be great! I *tried* the "magic foot* on my wife's Bernina (70s era), but I soon found out that you actually need a lot of skill to make that thing work right! Great stuff, man. -- Bill

So I watched this channel and was sad that this ended. No more videos after 2019 thinking maybe because of the pandemic, but I found this guy on a new show about loving to stitch started in 2018 and it's current, last video posted 6 days ago. #Stitchin'heaven

Also, if you get the center of each of the pieces lined up, you can then place a weight on top and fiddle with the edges without worrying about losing the center!

I saw another channel where he does videos...Stitchin Heaven. I think his show there is called Sew Well with Rob Appell.

I actually have that same machine. It does have a spot for a second spool holder. It’s the bobbin winder. It has a separate horizontal spool pin that snaps onto the bobbin winder to add a second spool.

where on tv?

I have a question on my Janine MC 8900 the bobbin tension spring..? Came out...? It looks like Omega sign, how difficult is it to place back in or should I take it to the dealer...?

I am struggling applying the fusible bias tape, specifically negotiating the tight inside curves. I have searched for tutorials without success. It seems the tape folds over itself or creases in the process. Do you know of a resource I could access to help with this aspect of your pattern?

Um....you just up and left your website, here, etc. Those who enjoyed your demonstrations (myself counted among those that do) might be wondering if you and yours are all OK? I do understand COVID changed the world, but you literally stopped cold in your proverbial tracks without a word to your followers as to why; on any of your web places. Here's to hoping you're all OK, and I'd like to thank you for this legacy you've left here, despite your disappearance. Thank you for making it cool for a guy to create with what was traditionally a "women's domain". It makes up for some of the dirty looks I've gotten over the years from older women in fabric stores, with the assumption that I shouldn't be invading that particular realm (and yes, there is nothing but the gospel in this statement of fact).

The channel he’s on now is called “Making it fun”. Rather strange how he just abandoned this channel. Sure hope it wasn’t because he’s kowtowing to certain groups that throw around the term “toxic masculinity”. Oh, the horror of having a channel with the word “Man” in it. I feel like he sold out. Check out The Quilting Marine, he’s awesome. Down to earth, and not a phony, perky type.

@@1969snowflake I think you're the one with a bias. He's not phony. Many people apparently found out he was leaving this channel. I just found him and really enjoy the way he teaches. He's great.

I was trying to figure out how to send a DM... I am looking for HELP. I bought a new singer fashion mate from Joann’s, a month ago, and I’m having a major problem! Joann’s will not help me because I recycled my box. I cannot figure out why my machine sews until I lift my presser foot to turn a corner. I am sooo frustrated! I have KZreadd and googled trying to find an answer. I make sure to thread it with lever up, so it engages. All is well, until I have to turn a corner, like if it disengages. Can anyone please help me find a solution??? Please help me Man Sewing... Colleen
