MAKE A PIPE - How To Make a Smoking Pipes From Wood - DIY PIPE

Тәжірибелік нұсқаулар және стиль

In this video I am making a pipe again after a while. This time i tried to create a simple design. I used fresh walnut tree branches for the stems as well as long-aged walnut wood. As a preservative, I used a mixture of beeswax and walnut oil. Three beautiful pipes emerged. Even though I don't smoke, I thought it would be a shame if I didn't use the pipes I made at least a little bit. Even though I searched hard, I could not find suitable tobacco for these pipes. So I had to try it with the only tobacco I could find.
I hope you enjoy watching.

    Can you explain your step starting at 15:08? That looks like a slender dowel rod you are inserting, but how did you get it to go so smoothly through the stem? I must say, this is one of the most amazing videos on pipe making I have seen and I very much want to try this!

    thanks for watching. What I do there is to clear the space inside the branches I used. There is a natural gap inside the walnut tree branches. Of course, a little cleaning is required to ensure air passage through this gap. With this method, I avoid having to perform another drilling process. A fresh walnut tree branch works really well to make a stem for pipes. Then I put these three pieces together using beeswax.

  • @BROTHER_WOOD08

    @BROTHER_WOOD08

    Drilling the holes in the stems is actually the easiest part of the job. The walnut tree finds its own space inside its branch. and I easily open this hole with the help of a wooden skewer. I don't do any drilling. Nature takes care of this for me. You can see this at 9:20.

    Complimenti, hai fatto un bel lavoro! Vorrei sapere quanto deve essere stagionato il legno per la pipa e che tipo di legno è. Vorrei farne una con legno di ulivo, pensi che sia possibile? e la devo far stagionare oppure posso usare il legno appena tagliato? Ho visto dei video che per fare una pipa usano la radica vecchia di 20 anni. Grazie e scusa per tutte queste domande ma sono molto interessato 😅😄

    Grazie per la visione. Per prima cosa ho utilizzato dei rami di noce freschi. Lo spazio naturale all'interno rende il mio lavoro molto più semplice. Avere rami freschi offre anche comodità. Naturalmente, puoi anche considerare di cucinare il dal per renderlo più flessibile. L'importante è preservare lo spazio all'interno. Non utilizzo legno invecchiato per così tanto tempo, ma i risultati sono piuttosto impressionanti. Dopotutto, la maggior parte delle persone non ha la possibilità di conservare la legna per molti anni... Per quanto riguarda l'olivo, non so se vi sia una lacuna simile. C'è un divario simile tra i fichi e i cornioli, ma secondo me i migliori sono i noci... Magari puoi forare prima un ramo normale e provare a piegarlo allo stesso modo. Potrebbe essere difficile, ma farà il suo lavoro.

    Thanks for watching. It's true that the pipes are a little big. One in particular turned out to be quite a huge pipe. If they are smaller, they will be better for use. However, I am doing slightly larger studies so that I can apply different patterns and minimize errors. This makes it easier when shooting videos. If I were producing something to sell, I would have to make more elegant and smaller works.
