Cherry wood branch pipe with hand tools!
Тәжірибелік нұсқаулар және стиль
After the power company cleared some cherry trees near my house from the power lines I saved some of the wood and had an idea that I might be able to make another pipe from a trunk and a branch. This video was my process.

This is how I made my pipe. Drilling a branch is nicer than having to glue or lash pieces
I love that it’s 100% handmade with handtools. I had a similar one years ago and I miss it to this day. It really impressed me that you were able to make the entire pipe out of one piece of wood. Fantastic👍👏👏👏

I love this profession because it is my father’s profession, he has been practicing it for 30 years, and he takes us with him to the factory and we saw all the stages that the tube went through from cutting, carving and cavity , it is also a beautiful profession that only those with good taste know, and now my father is retired, but his love for this profession is what He is still looking for a plant to revive because it has unfortunately become extinct in my country, Morocco.

I love carving bowls/pipes.... I made one when I was in my 20s that was a twisted oak pipe and the girl that bought it said she felt so bad using it because she loved it so much. I made about 7 pipes for people and I think the worst thing I've ever had to do is drill a hole over 4" deep... Once you start getting into 6" or 8" pipes it gets a bit messy w/ wandering holes or rifle fluting.
