Dude this is so awesome how you put this on here. Thank you so much. I learned how to do this in the matter of like 2 minutes. The only secret to it is remembering the one cord that you always have to loop and don't get them mixed up and it comes out perfect. The way I do that is I put a piece of tape on that one down at the end of it. I'm working on my second one and I could do like an inch per minute basically in 10 minutes I can make a 10-in bracelet.

Huge piece of advice that helped me: when you first start weaving it, run the first stitch through a pencil to hold it, so later when you try to pull the two ends back through the two first loops it’s easier and you just remove the pencil.

Great job! This is gold. By far, one of the best bracelets I've made. One thing I noticed, I made the two holes at the top a little big. But, if you boil hot water and soak it for a few seconds, it tightens up.

This was easy, made it in no time, without tools used a sharpened chopstick to loosen the cord, put painter's tape on the tip of the cord, so it fit like a charm, and I am new at this paracord stuff. I only learned 2 knots by heart, snake and cobra. thank you for sharing

I was trying to figure out where I've seen this before. I showed my two sisters this and they are making these brackets for me and my friends when they were in elementary school a long time ago. It's so awesome that this is popular again. Walmart used to sell a kit that had everything that you needed to make these bracelets. Different colors. Different material. Different gages of string. How they secured the end or the bottom was with a thumbtack. You do the knots from top to bottom. They did it from bottom to top or towards the thumbtack. This is cool. You explained it very well also. Peace from Augusta, Ga.

Just an FYI. It's approx 1 foot 2 inches per INCH of your wrist circumference. I was making one that needed to be 8 inches while tightening. After taking it apart, it measured 8ft. 4inches. So Just using 1ft. 2 inches per Inch of wrist, will give you solid results.

A few of us made these bracelets back in school in the late 70s but we used leather lace. 'The problem with leather was tying it off at the end (no easy melting with leather). all we could come up with was getting a second person to actually knot the end whilst it was on your wrist, then dabbing the knot with glue to set it. Needless to say once it was on it stayed on until it snapped. This method of tying off with a slip knot style is far better. Maybe i will get some paracord and give it a go.

At 10:40 he could have just pulled on the loop (compressing the cobra knots) to extend it temporarily. At 12:40 he should have twisted the loop by 90deg, and they should both have gone straight thru. At 13:50 You can adjust the tightness of the first loops, by expanding several (4-8) cobra stitches with the fids. Alternatively, you can run the lines thru/inside several of the cobra stitches to get a cleaner/smoother effect. At 15:00 You want to be able to open it enough to slip over your hand with a little work (so it can't just slip off). At 15:44 When you tighten it and then slip it off. NOW it is adjusted to almost too loose. Do NOT smallen the bracelet until after you tie the stopper. At 19:00 He has finished messing with the stopper (which you finished much easier by NOT smallening the bracelet!

Hey, I just wanted to thank you for an outstanding tutorial video for this Mad Max style 550 cord bracelet. I thought this would be a little harder to do, but you made it very simplistic. Keep up the great work. USMC Veteran

Thank you , the other channels are actually opposite from the camera , & backwards , it's wonderful you have the camera above you , so we can actually see the left & right the same way on your screen .. I found some Paracords a bit thicker at the Dollar General, 70 feet for 8 bucks , got 7 colors . Red, Blk, Dark green, Brown, Light green , Hot Pink , dark Turquoise for 8$ a peice .. I bought all 7 colors , cause a paracord actually saved my life when I accidentally left the lights on , drained the battery, unfortunately not a stick shift to jump start the vechical, took it apart found 5 strands of white string under the nylon of one color, used a knife & rock to start a fire, cause those white strands ignited pretty well with dry shrub, kept me warm though tell nxt morning around 10am , then had to hike down the mountain, found some really nice gentleman to give me a jump .. Had everything else, few blankets , some mountain house meals, beer, water, but NO freaking lighter ... Found you & another few channels , witch make it easy cause you have your phone upright , so we can actually see the same direction to learn .. Thank you Sir , much appreciated & GBY , cause hard times are coming in the year 2021 & 2022 ..

Thanks for this.. it was much much simpler than I thought and it's the first bracelet I've made and only the 3rd thing I'm made using paracord. Your tutorial was very easy to follow, very clear, slow enough and precise and my bracelet turned out awesome.

It seems to me, that cigar smoker + prepper = oh so ready to make paracord stuff!! I am a prepper of sorts, so I have a ton of paracord. I am also a cigar smoker, so I have a ton of jet lighters, 1, 2, 3, and 4 flames. love your videos. I'm late to the channel. Just watched this video on 09/15/2022

I suffered a severe massive stroke in 2015, that has been 4 years ago. I've always been an outdoors types and loved paracord and had always wanted to make my own paracord items. I finally took the leap and got my paracord, a jig (to try to aid me in making bracelets and monkey fists later on) and in reference to your mention of a jig, I'm using a medium size Bulldog paper clip to hold the top run on the jig and the loop at the bottom is on the lower retainer lug on my jig. Thus far, I've managed about 5 or 6 runs and it looks OK but I have to stop and rewind the vid time to time and lose track of the right and left in reference to which goes over and under as mentioned in the vid but I'm really struggling to make my right hand d its part. LOL Did I mention that I'm doing this as a form of therapy? LOL I thought this would've been hard before, imagine the struggle now with the right hand. LOL If/when I can ever complete this bracelet, I'll try to post a photo of it for others with disabilities like mine. :)

Hi , I have never made anything with paracord, I wand to make a bracelet for my 8 yr old nephew, looking at your finished bracelet, it does not seem that it would stay close , or will it ? Another question, what is that tool called that you used to thread the cord . Do you have math that you use on how much cord it takes for different length of bracelets ? I enjoyed your video very much and looking forward to watching more of them , thank you .

A little bit of trivia, if it hasn't been posted already. The paracord bracelet in Fury Road isn't actually part of the costume design. Tom Hardy wears it quite exclusively now. A friend of his was deployed in the military during the shooting and he had taught him how to make them, so Tom made one for every cast member during the making of the film.
