Thanks for the tutorial. I used this to make an adjustable lanyard for one of my fighting knives. Instead of tying a knot on the end, I put it through the lanyard hole then tied the knot. It works perfect!!

I've been watching these tutorials for a few weeks now, and after tying, and untying, this bracelet multiple times, mainly due to sizing, I'm now proud to say I can do the cobra stitch without much though. WOO!!!

Finding paracord around here isn't easy. Sure, you can order on the net but I'm an oldtimer. Been interested in these bracelets for a long time and finally I found a seller with cords that I could look and feel at. I chose mil green 5mm and made a bracelet according to your specifications, which I find superior to others since it requires only paracord and does what its supposed to. Proudly wearing it now and couldn't be happier. Thank you!

+Thereisnosp00000n I get most of mine from military surplus stores, but there are two bases within an hour of me so YMMV. Of course they aren't going to stock the more exotic colors, but it's nice to just be able to go out and pick some up when you want it without having to wait for it to be shipped. I definitely get you there.

Aloha, Tim...I'm glad you put up the tutorial. I would just point out that the bracelet looked tan because of the desert dust on it. Someone said it is actually "foliage green". I'm using OD green, mainly, but am doing some hot pink Mad Max-ine bracelets, as well. : ) I thought the knot was a Matthew Walker knot, but a double overhand makes sense. I'm still in love with your style and your "background" (the mat, Buddha, etc.), Thanks so much for the time you spend creating your clearly presented, informative tutorials.

I love this design. When I did this one, I put a skull bead at the end of my loop. It kinda hides the strands coming from the weave going through the loop before going through the two small loops at the other end. Looks awesome. What's better, no worries when out in the woods if that plastic buckle might fail.

This is another work of art video. But I have one question about how you keep all your paracord bundled together? I am currently using elastics but they keep breaking. What would you recommend?

Simon Cribb Thanks! I'll do a quick tutorial on how I keep my paracord bundles together. It's super simple. :)

I made one and like it but, after I tighten it on my wrist it very quickly loosens itself. It doesn't fall off but it's irritating to have it move up and down my arm after just tightening it. Any solution for this? I've thought about using a rubber band after tightening it, but it probably won't look great and will make it more difficult to remove. Thanks.

Jtmurter I'd say that you should redo it. But this time make the loops where you feed the paracord through smaller. That way it won't loosen so easily.

Hi thanks for the Great how to video. How much paracord do you need to start with for a larger wrist about 8 1/2"? Thanks in advance.

Question: Does the part of the bracelet that dangles after you close it bother people? I'm wondering if you pulled the tails under instead of over, and just fused the ends together instead of knotting then. Then the "tail" would be hidden under the bracelet, and since they're single strand they might not be a bother. What ya think?

I'd say it's up to the individual to pick a style that they like. I think part of the allure of this style is to have the little dangling portion. Many paracord bracelets they sell, even if it doesn't have a dangling part in construction, have some sort of charm or something added after for style. I personally like it. It just kinda sticks out in a low angle and never really messes with anything except for maybe if I pull a long sleeve down (but even then, the part that sticks out can help keep the bracelet from getting hidden under your sleeve!). I can understand not liking it, in that case I'd probably opt for another style of closure. The method you mentioned may work but I think it'd feel bothersome and look bulky if tucked under.

Your explanation is great, congratulations. Could you tell me how many cm paracord uses to make a bracelente. I have a certain basis. Thank you.

doesn't that loop and diamond knot end catch on things if you wear it, or do you wrap up the slack somehow?

+nacetroy I've never had it catch on anything. You can of course tuck it into the bracelet, when you're wearing it.
