33 Minute mark sparks the greatest conversation point in this interview. Navy got perplexed by budgetary notes and tried to steer that way. I applaud our Coast Guard for carrying this in the closing direction that he did. Great discussion gentlemen. US Navy Chief bowing to the Coasty on his remarks here. BZ Yall.

Bill, the U.S. Navy is going to have to put their head together with the USCG and flesh out what a wartime package will look like on a Coast Guard Cutter. The USCG is already doing ASW Light hunting submersible drug smuggling craft. Those drug smugglers are starting to build true/pure submersibles. ASW equipment on cutters WILL BE REQUIRED. An AN/SQQ-89(V) USCG package should already be in definition, and a lot of that equipment will look like what is in a Mobile Inshore/Undersea Warfare Unit. The U.S. Navy best get too it.

They were pretty up in our face about that weren't they. Wonder what type of Chef is running that operation. Always been interested in that line of work for the money, but not officially under our National Banner is what has always been the most concerning part. Seems like the money would be more than enough to drown the concern
