Mine just walks along with me. No leash. Better than most dogs. When I tell her "go home" I may get a little complaint, but then she walks home, moves the screen door open on her own and waits for snack. Yep. For real. My neighbors are amazed.

Many cats can go on walks, if trained properly. I walk my 3 cats all together. A Siamese, a Burmese & a Bengal.

Felix is such a beautiful Cat! He looks so Regal, surveying his Domain.

Well, there is really no training behind. This is an indoor cat. It is very happy to come out a little on a leash. But it is important that it is handled a lot from early age, so it accepts the leach and being held back.

Felix is regal and gorgeous.

Good for Felix! My cats would not walk with a leash. As soon as I put a leash on they would flip down and refuse to move!

May Felix live many years to come. I've been walking my tuxedo cat Macek daily for over four years now. He has the best of both worlds.

My late cat was also named Felix. He was half Maine Coon. He passed about six months ago and was 15 1/2 years old. I still miss him. I now have three young cats named Mama(about 18 mos old), Lucky(will be one in a couple of weeks) and Tiger who is the son of Mama(7 mos old).

How do you prevent him from picking up fleas or other bugs while walking outside? My baby is just 6 months old. I found her inside my backyard, right next to my door after coming back from bike riding with my son one night She's obsessed with water so I took on my balcony recently to experience snow and she loved it. ☺️

This is an indoor cat, so we don't have that problem. But I know there is some insects repellents you can buy. Ask in your animal store.

You can use the flea spot-on liquid that goes on the back of their neck, you can even get ones that also protect against worms, mites etc. My cats are outside cats and have never had fleas.

It could do very well. Many people take them with them when travelling as long as you have everything, if camping and they don’t have constant outdoor access you would need a litter tray

It's the same. Start early. Let him be used to the harness indoors at first. And just take him outside. He will probably lay down a lot in the begining because he likes to decide. And he likes to be free. Just be patiente. You can't command a cat to do anything.
