Mail Call: Unboxing a Commodore SP90000 "Super PET"
Unboxing a (new to me) Commodore SP9000 Super PET, shipped in two parts.
Well packed for shipping and perhaps a safer way to ship a Commodore PET.
I've been hunting for a Super PET for some time to round out my PET collection. This one needs a little work but that'll be the subject of another video coming soon.

For those curious about the Super PET and what makes it different, here's a great write up by Robert Ferguson. seefigure1.com/2013/12/07/superpet.html The knife is a Spyderco Manix 2 M4
Congrats on the new member of the family. And I didn't realize removing the monitor was that easy, thanks for showing that!
I admire your commitment to document the unboxing. Every time I get something really exciting for my collection, I get impatient and tear into the box without setting my camera up.
Nice find, and well packed. Restoration and power-on will be fun I am sure.
Awesome! I am looking forward to seeing more of this rare machine
The SuperPET is such a cool machine! Looking forward to some follow up videos. There's sadly not much video online of the SuperPET operating in 6809 mode.
"And I thought they smelled bad... on the outside!". I can't help but think of Han Solo slicing open the tauntaun on Hoth whenever someone cuts bubble wrap like that :)
This man is assured happiness for the rest of his days. Congratz sir!
I have always loved the design of Commodore Pets they just look nice! super exited for the restoration video!
Very nice. Looking forward to the full restauration!
Super cool! I always like PET videos :)
Awesome dood.
This is one the computer that I want in my collection, but have given up owning.
Nice packing! No room for movement during shipping while plenty of padding on the sides incase the box is impacted or punctured. The bubble wrap on the electronics did make me cringe, but I'm sure it's all OK. Good luck on the repairs / restoration!
