MAIDO in Peru is the "Best Restaurant" in South America and #5 in the World
This was the first dinner on my very first trip to Lima Peru. This is like hitting a grand slam on the very first pitch. There is a reason why MAIDO has consistently been in the top 10 restaurant rankings of the world. It’s often been considered the best restaurant in all of Latin America. This is Nikkei techniques at the highest order with Peruvian ingredients and influences. I had no idea what to expect when I first arrived. When you walk in, the first thing you’ll notice are the long hanging ropes from the ceiling. The next thing you see are all of the global accolades that remind you that MAIDO is one of the world’s best. I highly recommend the wine pairing which truly compliments the amazing array of dishes that unfold before you. If you are a lover of Japanese food then you will fall in love with these unique dishes.They look familiar but they are magical. Oh by the way this is my very first video. Enjoy!

I don't see how anyone can get full off of those tiny ass bite sized portions. If you have to drop a grand on dinner and then stop by the drive thru at a fast food joint on your way home, I don't think it's worth it.
