Awesome video and as usual, super cool lure! I’m pretty sure the “Wood Ducks” were actually Black-bellied Whistling-Ducks on account of their upright, goose like, posture, orange bills, extensive white wing patches, and call when they flew. They are a pretty rare bird outside of the southern US although they are known to wander. Nice find!

I think that you are definitely right about enhancing the lure's performance. The weight transfer system is awesome. Because the form of the body is slightly bent upward, it would make it a killer walk-the-dog mouse lure. If you took off the bill and patched up the holes, you'll probably catch a ton of pike this coming fall. Great video!
