Mahindra is ready to launch the XUV 700 soon. However, today, we have a speculative rendering of the Mahindra XUV700 Getaway variant that makes for a cool new iteration of the SUV. Mahindra has recently revealed its upcoming flagship, the XUV700, which is expected to go on sale very soon. The new model will be available in 34 variants to choose from and its prices will start from Rs 11.99 lakhs (ex-showroom, Delhi). Even before Mahindra revealed its upcoming SUV, various rendered images were circulating over the web to showcase the model in different avatars. Recently, a new digitally rendered image has been uploaded by Gen-X Designs which has redesigned the SUV with a true off-roader character. This Mahindra XUV700 off-roader concept will surely appeal to those who like their cars bold and loud.

The upcoming XUV700 will be powered by the same 2.2-litre mHawk, four-cylinder turbocharged diesel unit but now will make up to 183 bhp on tap and up to 420 Nm of peak torque. Basically, the base variant will churn out 155 PS of power and 360 Nm of torque while the higher trims will develop 185 PS of power and 420 Nm of peak torque (450 Nm with AT). Meanwhile, the XUV500 puts out 153 bhp and 360 Nm of peak torque.

Thank you for the detailed review. I have same model and when I travelled for about 600KM from Pune to Kolhapur and back with some city driving and ghats included. Odo was showing me till 19 KMPL. I did tank full to full and it came out to around 17 kmpl actual. But this was under 1000 km reading and I was doing around 70 to 90 speed so 6th gear was hardly engaging. So 18+ is easily achievable on highways with 100 kmph speed :-)

@Sachin Gaikwad did you face any suspension noise issues on bad roads??
Obviously at heavy load suspension gets more bumpy and an increased body-roll. If all this criteria are placed on the rival, I am 110% sure, they will have more in bumpy and body-roll.
have you guys feeling jerk in xuv 700 while press breaks and you will be feeling sick after 30 minutes of drive…we were 3 people in car .we all felt same and after short ride we felt like vomiting.!!!! Can you notice any one?

Petrol done with one person, empty Taj expressway. Diesel done with 6 people, busier EPE / WPE :-)

You posted two videos of petrol. One is with one person mileage is 13.5kmpl something and another one is with 6 people mileage is 18kmpl. How did you get that?

Big family, Diesel Auto is the car to go. How much will be mileage with 2 passengers? Manual will give 21
Why helmet is kept on the lap of the passengers? That proves, no space in boot. (Boot me jadha nahi hai ek helmet rakhne ka)
Guys i love this vehicle my XUV 700 AX7L diesel variant has been giving me 11-12kmpl on highway as i was driving in zoom mode... can you share some tips on improving mileage apart from driving in zip mode like speed and rpm limits to consider for better milage

Zap mode pr chalao between 90-100 don’t do harsh braking and sudden acceleration
damn that mileage.... it's great if it gives 15kmpl also

I think all reviewers should specify about the rpm at which the car does 100 in highest gear. That tells a lot about the engine. And tell you about how comfortably u can cruise on highways.

Lot guys do mistake as not wait 30 minutes to full tank second time hence fake millage . Once maruti car gave 30kmpl then he wait 30 minutes & again full tank. Second time should wait 30 minutes then full tank otherwise millage comes very high

Not just bunny, others spoke the same. May be the video u saw had the reviewer talking about it from single driver point of view. Remember, a vehicle will behave very differently with 1 and 6 people on board. We had 6 :-)
