You almost have flowers on your palette paper. You could almost frame it as an abstract
Hey Y'all. I haven't watched the videos in a while but I love all the teachings and everyone does a great job from teaching to camera to moderators answering questions. It seems like you guys have new cameras but I was wondering if anyone was "feeling" the motion of it all. I so wanted to keep in on this magnolia flower, but the movements of the camera were making me dizzy. Has anyone else had this feeling that can suggest how to overcome this? I'll watch other videos and see. I appreciate all you do and teach so thank you for providing that to us.

Why do acrylic artists seem to use only burnt sienna and umber and not the raw varieties? I’ve noticed you and Ginger almost never use the raw versions. Can you say why?

I use Raw Umber most and Burnt Umber for a translucent red brown, Burnt Sienna & Raw Sienna all the time.

Raw sienna is almost used like a neutral yellow and Raw umber is very transparent. We have good yellows and so need a more robust brown

Being as the flower is white, it may take extra layers you paint the whole background, You could, but maybe paint in in around your flower? 🌷
