You missed the end where Jack sees the snow falling and his grin. Geoff said that this song was a challenge to both his acting ability and vocal acrobatics as he called it. He played that piano in the BTS video was very haunting and very out of tune. He put a clip of it on his patron. I believe a good 75% of this set is from Geoff and Kathy's home and yard decor. Kathy said this was the excuse Geoff used to buy the pumpkin stack to the left, more single pumpkins, more headstones, graveyard fencing, spooky trees, and even purchasing the Moon along with other odds and ends. They did fill in pieces that PattyCake had on hand.
I know he was sick in Sept so a lot of stuff had to wait a bit, VoicePlay was doing Hellfire (superb), Nov 17 they are going to be on stage with Chicago.
The way he switches between ranges to show the inner turmoil between being the pumpkin king but needing more. He’s perfect for this.
Now that's the perfect combination -- that song and Geoff! It's a perfect performance of Geoff's range and low notes, arrangement, setting, costuming, videography...! WOW. Wow, wow.
His production in addition to the musicality is outstanding!
Seriously, watch the movie! Geoff worked his amazing voodoo on this song, and it is so brilliant, I have no words. Love your reactions!
I’ve never watched NBC, but now finally I have access to it and will watch it this Halloween. Love Geoff’s version of this, though! I’m looking forward to your reaction to Hellfire! I think it’s great!!
I didn't grow up on the movie either but found an appreciation for it later. The frame by frame animation puts some people off but i always have been fascinated by it. The story of going after something you think you want to find out you already had it.
Thanks, Cole! Good reaction as usual. eov!
I was eating dinner while watching your reaction, Cole, and I nearly swallowed wrong when you mentioned the Brandon Lee - _Crow_ comment a poster made on the Oogie Boogie video! Wait! {cough} _That was me!_ {cough, cough!} lol This cover also gave me strong _Crow_ vibes as it did you. I enjoy your reactions and can't wait for you to react to VP's _Hellfire_ .
I kept saying WOW as well 😆
Geoff is the hollween king!!
He did it as a solo because we begged and pleaded for him to do this and VP to do Hellfire. Thank god he didn’t record it with that piano it was so out of tune from being moved and meds up when setting it up that you couldn’t recognize the song when he played that piano. Hi from Philadelphia Ms If you watch to the end he sees the snow and also shows some bts.

You've already been scolded by several people so I'll only remind that it's always wise to watch to the very end. There might be surprises. Otherwise loved the reaction🎃🕸

Hey, carina! I always watch the patron screen, but most of the time that part of the reaction gets cut for file size/upload time, since I usually don't make any good commentary in those portions. If you watch right when the video screen goes off, my body position jumps, indicating where we cut the film. - Cole

@@randominerecords Thank you for another great reaction to Geoff. I know you have a lot on your plate so I know you will eventually get to Geoff & Voice Play. I love how every time you look at us & say wow, says it all. That's enough for me. I can see the appreciation you have for Geoff & Voice Play in your facial expressions & your use of the word wow. ❤

Knowing the movie well, this song is a solo piece, I feel it wouldn't have made sense as a group project. Not saying the boys wouldn't have done an amazing job with it, but I personally appreciated that it was a solo project. He did such an amazing job with it.
if you would watch right to the end you would have said some of the behind the scenes bits as well. BTW missing your repsonses to comments videos is it too time consuming for you to do? ❤🏴

Hey, gillian! I did watch the patron screen till the end, but we cut it for file size/upload time. Unfortunately, I have so many other things going on outside the channel, I've had to suspend the weekly comments answer vid and cut back to 3 YT reactions and 1 Patreon reaction a week. I've been planning to make a short vid to all our YT viewers who aren't following us on Patreon to let you guys know, but even that has been impossible to schedule. Hope to get something out soon though! As always, thanks for your continued support, and hope all is well! - Cole

@@gilliandrysdale5306 Thank you so much, Gillian!
I saw the movie just last week for the first time and the songs felt so empty after seeing what VP have done with them. I don't care for that kind of movie anyway, the artwork of it I find grotesque, it doesn't appeal to me, but I forced myself to watch it just for comparison. Pity you missed the final moments in the outro.
