I can't believe they actually did the Genosha massacre with The Wild Sentinels. This is loosely based off the comic E for Extinction, in which a mutant by the name of Cassandra Nova hijacked and used one of the deadliest types of Sentinels known as Wild Sentinels, and sent them onto Genosha which resulted in them destroying the entire island and wiping out over 16 million people. Also fun fact: The voice for Cable is the OG voice for Gambit from back in the day.

The darkest part of that story to me was when xavier was using cerebro looking for survivors and you just saw lights dissipating of all the mutant signatures going out

I’m glad they waited until I was an adult. If I saw this as a kid, I would’ve been scarred. Shit I watched days of future past as a teen and that shit was brutal.

I have to say the entire Genosha attack was well done tension and action the suspenseful build up to Rogue falling in and out of consciousness as the chaos unfolds then all of the X-Men get into action trying to stop the sentinels and save people ending with Magneto and Gambit’s sacrifices. Many shows and movies attempt to portray crisis situations but often miss the chaos and confusion that comes with them this whole sequence captures that very well.

Terrifying episode. Gave me chills and at the end I was in tears. Magneto telling Leech to not be afraid, but in german. Gambit being the hero to save Genosha and "REMEMBER IT" And Magneto's outstanding quote: "We shall not live our days wondering if we could've saved more."

Just woke up and saw this episode. The Genosha Massacre was truly hard to watch in my eyes. And it was tragic to see Gambit and Magneto go with their final words. Damn😢

I think next episode, Cable will be the focus character. He will still try to time travel to change the events that happened so I'm guessing Magneto and Gambit will eventually be alive if the time has reset
