I love how she reconnected with her power spiritually, emotionally and physically! Also liked how she powerfully showed off her powers than later returned for Forge🤣 SHE IS THE STORM ⛈️

I am going to say it: Storm is and always has been my favorite. I'm a 90's kid and grew up with the X-men. Seeing the Storm Goddess not only unleash her full power and Go Beyond her self imposed limits on top of getting her classic uniform back had me cheering and bouncing in my seat like a madman! And the timing couldn't be better. The world needs her Heart, Power, and Soul now more than ever.

I love how the literally threw herself to the furthest reaches of the atmosphere, kicked up her speed and then stopped on a dime with that little step mid air. She knows how to make an entrance. She reduced The Adversary to little more than feathers and failure.

Yasssss. It was time the goddess of Kenya reclaim her true power. A true sorceress goddess.

Amazing. Super Saiyan Level 3, unlocked. The Long hair, the signature Tiara. I'm in love. Shes probably beyond Omega level now or using the magic from her ancestry to access her powers again. That was the point of showing her blasting off into space and breathing in Space. In TAS she was possessed by the Shadow King and flew into space to incapacitate herself to get him out. Magneto would have needed a force field like we saw in episode 2. Her manifesting a new uniform and growing her hair is witch like which if you know Storm shes related to a former Sorceress Supreme Ayesha of Balobedu. Lighting is raw energy, she consciously manipulated the energy to create the costume. Scarlet witch told Storm in the comics that "She is of the Sisterhood" and that Storm uses Magic subconsciously and can see things others normally cannot, and that is because of her bloodline.

Owl flying around was the adversary and she noticed it flying around prior. I thought it was interesting she was able to recognize that specific bird and tell it apart from the others. She can sense when plants and trees are dying. And in a comic she was in Wakanda and was able to concentrate and strike down lightning on the Blackbird all the way in the U.S when cyclops was possessed by the Shadow king and was going to kill the x-men.

Storm can control elements at sub atomic level. Lightning is basically plasma which is the one of the hottest material in the universe.The core temperature of lightning is 10 million degree celcius that's right 10 million . Under extreme temperature and pressure which is also one of her feats,she can easily transmute one element into another Just like how two hydrogen atoms fused together makes helium under high temperature or charcoal turns to Diamond under enormous pressure. also she is an Omega level Mutant.That means there is no limitations on her power scale .The limitation is what she herself sets with her emotions. She not only changed her clothes by changing the properties of the molecules but she also created her head crown from air molecules like fusing them . Even in season 1 first episode "Night of the sentinels" she changed her clothes .She can breathe in space or water .she even created ozone from oxygen to detect enemy traps .All this Happened in Season 1

She never lost her powers. She only thought she had. Her lack of faith and belief in herself rendered her helpless. That evil bird did it's job, it pushed her to believe again. Good job Blackbird.

The only problem i have with this is that Storm basically didn't had an entire episode ONLY for her. A lot of things weren't explored enough like her romance with Forge, they basically cut out all the drama of him having been part of the project that led her to lose her powers. I think a lot of this could have been resolved if Storm had an entire episode all for her

OMG I literally had tears in my eyes..what a great Theme and what a great comeback.Finally #XMEN97 did justice to Storm .They finally showcased that Her true power set that includes that she could control the elements even at sub stomic level. She even created a crown from air Molecules..what a beautiful and fantastic way to show case her powers

Almost every episode has had a big setpiece to demonstrate how powerful the X-men are and further illustrate how underserved they've been in media outside the comics so far. 1 had Cyclops and Storm. 2 had Magneto and Storm. 3 had Jean Grey and Bishop. 5 had Gambit and Magneto. 6 had Storm. And Rogue, Morph and Jubliee are getting some showcase too. Beast has been dropping the ball all season so far, but I'm not too bothered about that treacherous mutt, a far superior blue furry mutant is on the way in. The best thing 97 could do was put Logan on the sideline for a while to show modern audiences what the X-men are all about.
