I've never seen the northern lights. Norway is very rugged like Scotland. I love melancholia which can be a beautiful thing, not sad. I agree that it is a driving force. Unless you feel these things on a cellular level, you can't write these meaningful songs. I like music to affect me on a deep level, thought provoking and an escape from daily activities. I love going on these journeys musically with A-ha. Love you guys 💞

Funny you mention 'melancholia', we the Portuguese have got something somewhat similar called 'Saudade', which can be translated into a feeling of missing something or someone, but again it's so Portuguese just like 'Fado' and the idea of fate... Interesting to compare cultures, the feeling is somewhat alike... Congrats for your amazing music and lyrics, it touches our soul!
