This guy! He has not smoked,drank and is Christian. A very amazing example of clean living. Morten looks at least half his age. Which is saying something because he’s 63!

It's not close to sounding the same like back in the 80's and that's only natural since the voice changes when you get older. I can reach maybe 50% of the high notes that I could reach twenty years ago.

Pour garder ce niveau de voix, de maîtrise, il faut surtout avoir une vie saine, sans drogue alcool, sport. Morten est un exemple. Une voix comme la sienne qui est capable de ce calé avec un orchestre symphonique, c'est extraordinaire. Vraiment.

how can this man still sound so fantastic? omg. my gen X heart is swooning. the strings and orchestra only add to an already killer good song. his voice is still slaying (as the kids say) and it just shows how great a pop song can be. not all pop is fluff, he still sounds so great, it blows my mind. eye candy and ear candy. bravo to all the musicians and of course Morten. xoo

same, i had this album on cassette then upgraded in my senior year to the new thing called a CD. this music still hits perfectly, so glad i am gen X. we had it best, no doubt at all about that. like fer schurre, lol

@@nuschlerclark895 G Michael was very good looking. Paul is, mediocre, but one of the best song writers of all time. But when it comes to looks, Morten Harket runs laps around both of them. I mentioned Elvis because he was special in his prime. So was and is Morten. I’m not gay btw 😂

Wow! He is still SO hot! I saw A-ha in concert back in the 80s. My date at the time looked so much like Morten that girls were doing double takes as we walked to our seats. Seeing Morton live is one of the highlights of my life.

How is it possible that this man with a phenomenal voice belts out something amazing with his golden pipes and the only comment a person makes is on his looks? 🙄 He actually hates that kind of stuff. Watch the latest documentary. Even an interview where he said something like he’s a man I. His 60’s with two teen age daughters. That he finds this kind of attention embarrassing.😟

@@dianakure1310 I am so sorry. I could have worded things better and not jump on you. I used to say stuff about Morten’s looks here and there as well. I watched “A-ha the movie” and learned so much. One thing was how much he actually hates this kind of attention. They show a scene with him in a car, on the way to see fans. He looks so uncomfortable. He just goes on and in about the quiet. You can feel how much he really doesn’t want to get out of the car. It made me feel bad. I mean, it’s so weird and confusing, like a lot of the documentary. There are images and videos everywhere with Morten looking like a sex object or like a perfect pin up model. The recording industry, media, and other fans (and honestly, Morten too, for I am sure he had to know or was he forced to be that way? I don’t know) really pushed that image of him out there. It is truly hard not have your hormones go nuts! I watched reaction video with a guy saying “Here I was, minding my own business, just enjoying the song. Up pops Morten, long hair blowing, bare chest just constantly there. Well…..”. Yes, exactly. So I do apologize. I have felt much empathy for him now in his older years. I don’t know the story. I don’t know if he wanted to be that way then and didn’t think of how that would follow him when he was older? He believed he had no choice but to do all that stuff and now is paying for it in his later years? I guess it must really suck though. I mean, having such an amazing gift with that voice. Most people first (and maybe only) talking about how you look. Being in your 60’s, having five kids, (a grandchild too, I think), being with the person you love for over 17 years, people still drooling over photos and videos of you from 10-30 years ago. No matter where you go, people ogling you and talking about your appearance. Never really actually being able to just be a human being. I saw an interview once with him talking about how when you’re famous, you know you will never belong to just the regular population of people. You will always be different. I would imagine that is pretty awful. Sure, he has lots of money, but he can never just be normal. Do normal things. Just not be recognized and truly enjoy life, I suppose.

Madre mía…Morten está mejor que cuando era joven, con mucha diferencia, su voz suena casi como entonces y si tenemos en cuenta el rango y tono del tema es un milagro que pueda cantarlo sin problema, sobre todo porque se le oye perfectamente incluso con la orquesta a tope pero ¿qué me decís de la orquesta, precisamente? Impresionante…alegre, con unos arreglos emocionantes y hace brillar a A-HA como nunca. Junto a la versión unplugged y al original, la mejor de largo. ♥️♥️♥️♥️

I so love this! I can’t seem to find it now, but I first saw this where they showed Morten and the orchestra from the front the whole time. The orchestra was so amazing to watch, they were really getting into it. Doing cool stuff like having different people jumping up at different times while playing, even the cellos! The horn section was doing some cool stuff too. It was just so cool. Obviously, Morten was great and deserved the applause, but I feel that orchestra should have got more recognition.
