Well its really not that strange. The trains is really just folowing a virtial track. They was to lazy to make a new system for the Transrapid, so they just implemented it the same way.. Then make a checkmark for compability.They really just need to uncheck it.

Memiom you see, since the earth has a magnetic force field, and maglevs push against other magnets, they float, since the rails are magnetized by the magnetic force field, and the mag in maglev stands for magnetic levitation.
