As those believe it would be freaky to see an UP big boy's boiler moving independently of the truck frame until the truck frame tucked under the boiler. Those also could like other steam locomotives take a shot on the deplorable tracks especially a SP cab forward.

Well cab forward locomotives have better visibility for the driver and if its a steam locomotive the smoke from the funnel doesnt enter the cab, but the drawback is that the driver is in much more danger in the event of a crash. Hope this info helps

Here is the thing GUSTAVTIME viewers if you watch the video at .25% speed and pause at 1:04 you can see that the 4003 Big Boy has a Union Pacific Challenger Tender and those tenders were used for the 4-6-6-4 engines I know this because the most famous Challenger is 3985 and the tender is numbered for the engine 3951 Also if you watch at .25% speed and pause at 1:00 you see that Union Pacific 4003's plate says 4010 so just some Easter eggs that most don't see on the big boy you need to have a good eye to see these.

Mad Lipz it’s a cab forward steam locomotive ran by the Southern Pacific Railroad. The locomotive was basically a reversed big boy.

This raises the question: at what point does a railroad stop being a railroad and become a pile of rails threwn across the ground?
